Chapter 5 - Surprise

Thursday after school

Ann's P.O.V
"Ugh! the week is finally over!" I said while walking into the apartment followed by Chanyeol. "Good thing there's no school tomorrow!" Chanyeol said while sitting on the sofa. "Yes!! The first week of school is always so exhausting!" I said as I joined him. "What do you want to eat tonight?" I asked completely out of context. "Hum... I don't know... Pizza maybe? We won't have to do anything" He said. "Good idea! But you're paying this time since I was the one who payed last time." I said referring to the first night in the apartment. "Okay, that's fair" He said getting up to call the pizza place.

"It's here!" I said jumping up and down holding onto Chan's arm (because his shoulders are too high for me) imitating him at the first night.

We ate and went to bed about 2 hours after because we were exhausted. I fell asleep quite fast.

The next day (friday)

I wake up from the sound of my alarm. "Aish!" I said. I forgot to turn it off yesterday. I try to go back to sleep but I can't so I just decide to get up. I take a shower and get dressed. I'm wearing a simple sweatshirt and black shorts and I don't bother to do my hair or makeup because it's probably going to be a lazy day.

I go in the kitchen and eat my breakfast. After that, I start watching TV because there's not much else to do. I would wake Chanyeol up so I stop being bored but it's still early so I'm gonna be a good friend and let him sleep. "You can thank me Channie!" I yell knowing that he won't hear me anyway. He sleeps like a rock.

*knock, knock, knock*

Someone knocked at the door. Who could it be? It's only 8:30 in the morning. I go to te door. I don't bother looking or asking who it is and just open the door. "Hi-...." I froze.

I can't believe this... Is this real? Am I dreaming or something? What?!

I blink a couple times to make sure I'm not allucinating. In front of me are 8 gorgeous boys. I know these faces well. I simply can't move and just stare at them. My shyness is taking over.

"Sorry, we must be at the wrong place" Suho said and started walking away. "Yeah, sorry for disturbing you" Xiumin then said as he followed Suho and the other guys. It took me a second to realize. "No! Wait!" I finally said. They turned around with questioning looks. "Hum... You're here to see Chanyeol right?" I asked. They looked surprised that I knew that. "Huh... Yeah" Sehun answered. "I'm his roommate" I simply said. Their eyes widened in surprise. They started walking back to me. "You're his roommate?!" Baekhyun asked coming from the back. "Yeah" I said rubbing the back of my neck. "Then where is he?" He asked "He's sleeping right now... I can wake him up" I said "Okay... Wake him up" he said. "Okay, you can come in..." They are not moving. They probably still don't believe me. "Or you can stay there if you want." They started to come in hesitantly. "I'll leave the door open so you can escape if I start attacking you" I said jockingly. They laughed. "Did he know that you were coming to visit him? Because he didn't tell me" I asked "No, It was a surprise" Chen answered. My smile got bigger. "I love surprises!" I exclamed. "You guys go there and I'll come back with him!" I said excited while showing them where to hide. They seem unsure. They probably still don't completely believe me, which is understandable. They end up going anyways. "Oh and you probably already know that but Chanyeol has a horrible bed head when he wakes up! I'm saying that just so you don't completely freak out when you see him. It's not a monster, it's Chan" I said giggling at the thought. They laugh at what I said. Fiew!

"Okay, I'll wake him up now." They nodded still unsure. "CHANNIIIIE!!" I scream. They jump at my sudden loud voice. "oh, by the way, my name is Ann" I tell them just before going in the hallway. I get in front of Chanyeol's room. "CHANNIE! WAKE UP!" I yell. He doesn't answer. I open the door and run to his bed. I jump on it and start shaking him "Chan! Wake up! There's something I need to show you!" "Rrrrraaa! You're annoying!" He said as he pushed me off him. I laugh as I take his hand and try to get him out of bed. "Okay, okay! I'll get up" He gets out of bed. I take his hand and drag him out of his room. "What do you want to show me anyway?!" He asked. "Huh... A bird...?" I Said not knowing what to answer. He stopped me in the middle of the hallway. "Really?! You woke me up to show me a bird?!" He said a little angry. We then hear giggles coming from the living room. Probably laughing at my stupid answer. "What was that?" Chan asked. "Oh! That, the Tv" I said. "Okay well I'm going back to bed" He said letting go of my hand. "Nope! It's a really cool bird!" I said taking his hand and dragging him to the living room again.

When we arrived in front of the others, he stopped moving. The others looked basically as surprised as he was to see that I wasn't lying. "Okay guys, stop staying there and hug or something!" I said. They then realize that they weren't moving. I took Chanyeol's arm and dragged him again to the guys. They started to get all excited and Chan jumped around all happy. I smile at the scene then go the kitchen where I can still see them but I'm not in the middle of their reunion.

Something just popped in my head... I look like a potato sack right now... I just met EXO while looking like a potato sack... I get out of the kitchen and go in my room discreetly to arrange my hair and face a little. I don't feel the need to change my clothes 'cause I basically look like that everyday. I'm not gonna dress up just for that, plus, it would be too obvious that I'm trying to look good, even though I don't.

Chanyeol's P.O.V
"Chan! Wake up! There's something I need to show you!" I hear Ann say while jumping on me. "Rrrrraaa! You're annoying!" I said as I pushed her to the side. She takes my hand and try to get me out of bed. "Okay, okay! I'll get up" I said surrending. She drags me out of the room. Why is she so excited right now?. "What do you want to show me anyway?!" I asked. "Huh... A bird..." She answered. A bird?! I stop her in her and turn her around "Really?! You woke me up to show me a bird?!" I hear giggles in the living room. "What was that?" "Oh, That! the Tv" she said. "Okay well I'm going back to bed" I said letting go of her hand. "Nope! It's a really cool bird!" She said taking my hand again and dragging me. A cool bird?! Are you kidding me right now?!

We stop in the living room. I look in front of me and I can't believe what I see. "Okay guys, stop staying there and hug or something!" Ann said dragging me to the guys. I realize what's happening and get very excited. "What are you guys doing here?!" I asked. "We waanted to surprise you we miss you!" Baekhyun said while hugging me. They all joined in the hug a couple seconds after.

"So, you have a roommate?" Lay asked. "Ah... Yeah" I said. "Why didn't you tell us about it?" Suho asked. "Well we didn't really have the chance to talk since I arrived here and I just didn't think about it" I said honestly. "Well, She's pretty!" Sehun said. They all nodded. "Yeah, I know" I said rubbing the back of my neck. "Do you want to meet her? For real I mean... You probably only know her name I assume..?" "Yeah!" they all said. I turn around to see if she's still there. She's not. I guess she's in her room.

I knock on the door. "Yeah..?" I hear her say from the inside. "Can I come in?" I asked. "Yes" I enter. She's on her bed watching something on her phone. "So... Do you want to meet them?" I asked already knowing her answer. "Yes!!" She screamed. She gets off of her bed and hugs me. I feel my stomach tangle at her touch. Why did I feel that? "Why the hug? I think you're a little too excited" I said as I smiled at her. "Yeah... I'm sorry. I am a little too excited" She said as she laughed at her own reaction.

We get out of her room and go to the living room where the guys still are. "Time to meet them Anny" I said smiling at her. She smiled back "Yep!"
