Chapter 9 - Job

Ann's P.O.V
"Ugh!" I sighed as I entered the apartment followed by Chanyeol. "Four more days to go!" I said. "The week literally just started and you're already counting the days 'til the weekend?" Chan said as we went to the living room. "Yeah..." I put my bag down and look at the guys who were sitting on the sofa watching tv. "Leave a little place for me!" I said as I ran and jumped on the sofa. I landed in between Sehun and Chen who almost didn't have time to move. "Ya! There's too much people on this sofa!" Chen said as he moved a little to be more comfortable. "Hey I want to sit too!" Channie said as he came closer to us. "Yeah, well there's no more place... sit on the ground." I said pointing at the floor. "pffft! The floor is not comfortable, I'll just sit on you." He said and before I could say anything, he squished me. "Ya!! Park Chan Yeol! I can't breathe!" He laughed and got off me. He ended up actually sitting on the floor in front of Suho, who was also on the sofa.

"Oh no!!" I said as I suddenly realized something. "What's wrong?" Sehun asked. "I just realized that I have to find a job as soon as possible! I completely forgot because there was so much stuff happening since I arrived here..." "Why do you need a job so bad?" Chen asked. "Well... I'm not rich and I am the one who has to pay for the apartment, the food, my clothes and part of my studies... My parents are helping me as much as they can but I have to do my part..." I said as I got up. I take my phone out of my pocket and dial a number.

I saw last week that a cafe near where we live was looking for someone. I wanted to call later but I completely forgot... I hope they still need somebody. "Hello, Cafe Passion, what can I do for you?" A soft voice said. "Huh... Hi... I wanted to know if you still needed someone to work at your cafe. I'm looking for a job and I think your cafe could be a great place to work at." The guys on the sofa (Suho, Sehun, Chen and Chanyeol) were looking at me. "Oh, actually we do still need someone! Are you free soon for an interview?" "Hum, yes, every night after school this week... I'm free tonight actually, but you might not want to see me on such short notice..." "You're free tonight? Well it's perfect! There is not too much clients at this time so how about you come in an hour?" "Ok! I'll be there! Thank you so much!!" "It's a pleasure, see you soon!" I hang up. "Aaaaaaahh!" I almost yell out of relief. "What's going on here?" Baekhyun asked as he got out of Chanyeol's room followed by the rest of the members. "I got a job interview!!!" I said happily jumping up and down. "Really?!!!" they all said at the same time. "Yes!!!" "When?" Kyungsoo asked. "Tonight..." I said, realizing that I only have 1 hour to prepare. "Tonight?? Then you gotta go get ready! Right now!" Sehun said as he pushed me to my room.

I close the door and change into something a little more professional. Black tight pants and a marine blue blouse tucked in them. I put my hair up and apply a little mascara. I get out of my room. Everyone was waiting outside the door. "Wow!" They said at the same time. "You look great Anna!" Kai said. The rest nodded. "Thanks".

I just finished the interview. The guys helped me with what to say and it really helped, I wasn't too stressed out. The interview really went well! Clara, the owner, said that she would call tomorrow between 5pm and 7pm. I'm quite confident. I enter the building, going trough the fangirls. I didn't want to go to the back. Too tired. "Hey! You! Where are you going!" One of them said as I entered. "I'm going to my apartment" I said calmly. "You live here?!" Another one asked. "Yes." They look at me with envious eyes. "Waaa! So you must have seen Chanyeol then?" What do I say?! "Huh... yeah, I think I saw him once or twice in the hallway..." I lied.

They all started asking me tons of questions. "I'm sorry but I have to go! I'm really tired!" I close the door and take a deep breath. "It would've been less tiring to just walk to the back!" I said out loud to myself. It's a good thing that we can't see the lobby from outside... That would've been a problem. I walk to the elevator. There's a sign on it.... It's out of order. "Why???" I sigh and go up the stairs.
