Chris could feel his blood begin to boil like lava through his veins as his body reached a temperature that it never had before, as his anger seethed inside him. Listening to the silent sobs of both Sophia and Orion...the rapid heart beat that showed Andres' fear. Then as if he wasn't angry enough some how the lowest sound became the loudest...Martins' heart slowed...to the point of almost fading away.
"Andre! if you don't want to die get your ass over here right now!" Chris growled low and deadly.
Andre walked over quickly hoping not to anger him anymore than he already was keeping his head low in submission.
Chris stared coldly at Chester trembling on the ground " Watch him! if he moves say something. If you don't i'll kill you first, if he gets away i'll make you suffer!"
Andre swallowed hard and nodded trying to show him the respect he deserved without words since his tongue seemed to be in his throat.
Chris turned around and walked to Martin trying to hold it together when he realized he could barely hear his heart anymore. "Martin stay with me okay you're going to be alright." he looked over to Sophia and put his hand on Orion's' head. "Sophia I want you to take Orion to the car and wait there okay I don't have time to argue this just listen to me."
Sophia nodded and picked up Orion and carried him somberly to the car.
Chris watched her for a moment and picked up Martin walking back towards Andre.
"Listen i'm only going to say this once, I know you aren't the one who has been mainly hurting him...i could tell from your face...your actions and words from the moment we arrived. I also know that you are a half-demon, so this is my offer if you help me get him home along with Orion and Sophia I will spare your life and you will stay in my home and be protected as long as my gratitude for what you've done to help."
Andre for the first time looked him directly in the eyes and saw a softness that was almost completely over taken by despair and anger. He put out his arms to receive martin and whispered, "i accept."
Chris handed him over and yelled, " run to the car get into the driver seat and Sophia will tell you where to go" Andre took off running but yelled back " what about you?"
Christopher turned dead coal black eyes to Chester and replied "I've got a game to play...."
