Chapter 4 Part 2

        No he never came back we assumed he was with you since you two left the party together. I stay silent staring at the ground and Sophia puts her hand on my shoulder.  Christopher what happened where is Martin, what happened that night?  Without a word I run toward the forest scanning the trees, the ground any small space for his tiny body. Nothing not even his scent...it was like he had vanished. As the sun started to set  I walked back home exhausted after hours of searching.  Silently stepping through those doors  I sulked through the halls up to my room  and dropped myself to the bed, tears stinging the corners of my eyes. Starring into the dark ceiling thinking "where could he be, being mad at me is one thing but Sophia took care of him for years he would never leave her worried without so much as a good bye, this just doesn't add up..."  Feeling what I assume is a stack of bills under my back I roll over too see what is due and if it is really important.  "paid....paid.....paid...pai...wait it's a letter?"

         I bet you are wondering where martin has gone aren't you? He seems to have wondered out of the protection of his little hellfire, there are some new burns on him. Trouble in paradise? Well we appreciate you returning our toy to us, by now I'm sure you realize who I am. He's been crying for you every night, though i'm sure  he has almost given up on you coming for him, but enough small talk time to get down to business of why I'm contacting you, we are tired of beating and torturing him and as i said he doesn't think you're going to come back for him again something about you being angry and hating him I don't know, but rather than kill him we have decided to sell him back to you for oh I don't know 300,000$ sounds fair for someone you supposedly care about. I'll give you a week from when this letter is received to make up your mind. I'm sure you are wondering how we will know you have read this, well its simple you are going to tell us.
