Chapter VIII: Intruders

— Now come to think of it, this forest looks scary. What if it's really haunted? I don't want to meet Yūrei [click here if you have no idea WTF is Yūrei https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Y%C5%ABrei ] , — Suigetsu looked around with fearful eyes.
— Jeez you're such a chicken, Suigetsu! — Karin hit him on the head.
— Shut up you two, I heard something, — Orochimaru said.
They saw few ANBU members.
— Protect your ears, my friends. Our target uses sound to control people, all the villagers who were robbed said, that they heard strange, low voice before losing control on theirself. — Stated one of them.
— Why are you so sure that the robber is here? — Replied another.
— I wonder how did the idiot like you become ANBU member, — The first ANBU member sighed, — Robbery was followed by suicides, this can't be just coincidence, right? This forest was always peaceful and now suddenly everyone decided to kill theirself here? Come on! This robber is not like another robbers, he or she is more dangerous and evil than you think.
— Sound... Could it be that our target is connected to Orochimaru?
— Perhaps, who knows?
ANBU members disappeared, searching for trail.
— Oh, how sweet, when something bad happens they always suspect me. — Orochimaru laughed.
— Why I'm not surprised? — Suigetsu muttered.
— We must hurry and find that person before ANBU will find him... or her, — Said Karin, trying to sense chakra, — Hmm I think there are four people in the forest excluding us. Three of them must be the ANBU members we saw few seconds ago, I sense chakra from different directions, I think they departed. We must depart too and check all the places from where I sensed chakra, one of us might find our target.
— Nice work, Karin, — Orochimaru praised her.
— That's n-not nice at all! It's terrible idea! I don't want to meet Yūrei alone! — Suigetsu protested.
— Don't worry my dear, Yūrei can't harm you as much as I can, — Orochimaru said with creepy smile.
They choose different directions and started walking.

You were sitting in front of your new house, admiring it as well as surroundings, when you heard footsteps. You looked around to see [Dadadadaam :D] the man of your dreams your knight on a purple snake [OK, OK! I'm done joking around, don't kill meh :D] none other than Orochimaru. You blinked few times, thinking that you were halucinating. No, it was not hallutination. He was getting closer and closer. You were scared. Yes, it was not like you were imagining him usually, well, you may had little urge to glomp him with loud squeal and hug to death, but still, you were afraid of him. He was freaking killer after all and probably much stronger than you. Even if you'd be able to control him with sound, make him stop for few minutes and run, he'd probably easily find you. He will not stop even if you kill him, because he can revive (And you don't really want to kill him), besides, he still could move when he was under Itachi's genjutsu [ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1oTDIv4ySLE ]  and you weren't sure if your genjutsu was more effective than his, so you decided not to make him angry.
— What is cute young lady like yourself doing in suicide forest? — He said, sitting beside you, — Don't you know that this place is dangerous?
„Is he flirting or something?" You thought and mentally slapped yourself „Don't be an idiot, [Y/N]! He is just being polite & probably has something creepy in mind."
— I'm living here. Dangerous? No, it's not dangerous at all, don't listen to stupid rumors.
— Could it be that you're the one who kills people?
— Me?! What?! — You continued playing dumb.
— Do you know that ANBU members are after you? I saw them in the forest.
— Great, I have to leave my home. — You sighed deeply, playing dumb was pointless anyway.
— I can hide you in my new hideout. They'll probably check my old ones. They think you're working for me for some reason.
— Fine, — You agreed.
You followed him and started to run when he turned his back.
When you stopped, he was nowhere to be seen.
— It was easier than I thought, — You muttered.
— What was easy, dear? — Asked his voice behind you, — Why are you running away from me?
— I know who are you, you're quite famous, Orochimaru. I'm sure you're here to perform experiments on me or do other scary stuff!
— You're right. I have come here to catch interesting test subject, but I changed my mind. So, will you come with me, or keep running and fall right into the hands of the ANBU members?

— Will you let me go if I'll say that I don't want to come with you?

— Of course, not. I'll abduct you for your own well-being. Now, follow me please, I don't want to be rough.

— Okay, I'm coming, — You answered. You needed to find enough time to open the portal and disappear.
