Hayune floated along in the sky with Drifty, not too far from the trees. There was a feeling deep in his gut telling him to go towards blackthorn city. Or at least, the forest nearby it. Sure it was late; sure he had a job to do tomorrow, but this felt a bit more important. He lands in the trees, relying on that strange instinct telling him where to go. It was hard to see where he was going, but he continued on. After a while, he came to a large tree deeper in. He could see there was an Ursarang ready to tear something apart, but stopping to growl at Hayune, a warning to keep away from it's meal or else. Hayune had two options: Let Ursarang eat, or rescue its meal.

Hayune can hear whatever it was whimpering in pain, and that he couldn't ignore. He had Valentine give it a good moonblast away. With the added light for a moment, he could see that whatever that Ursarang wanted was tied up to a tree. With the pokemon out of the way, Hayune grabs a flashlight from his bag and goes to take a look. Someone was blindfolded, gagged with rags, and bound to a tree. They were hurt plenty already. Hayune panics a bit at the sight of blood, and quickly removed that gag with his Sylveon's help. The boy coughed a little, a bit of spit and a bit of blood coming out.

"Who's there? Are you two back to finish me off? Did you think of some other torture you wanted to try?" they try to sound tough, but their voice shook.

"I dunno who you're talking about, but... I'm trying to help. Hold still a little, won't you?" Hayune answers.

Hayune takes the blindfold off first. The boy glares up at Hayune, as if trying to intimidate.

"Ooh! Your eyes are red. That's pretty neat." Hayune says.

"Who the hell are you?" He growls.

"I'm Hayune. And you are?" Hayune asked.

"...Rust. That's my shitty name." Rust responds.

"Well, it's not shitty, really. Just a color name! I know lots of people with those names. I like all the colors, so Rust is a nice color too." Hayune says.

"No. It isn't." Rust growls.

"Well, you keep being negative and saying that, but I'm not really listening. By the way, who did this to you? Do they have your pokemon too?" Hayune asked as he worked slowly at Rust's binds.

"No shit they took my pokemon! They're probably all goners now, too." Rust growls.

"Did you like your pokemon?" Hayune asked.

"Yes. Well, the ones not gifted to me by my dear ASSHOLE siblings. I swear that Steelix was trying to kill me. Same goes for the Aggron. The feeling of hatred is mutual." Rust answers angrily.

"Well, what pokemon in your posession did you not hate?" Hayune asked.

"Well, I had a Cubone and Sableye. That's about it. Why are you asking?" Rust asked.

Hayune finished untying Rust. "Imma go get them!" Hayune said.

"Okay, first off, WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU THINKING? Second, there is no way you'd know where to go. I'd have to go with you." Rust growled at him.

Rust staggered as he tried to walk, the deep gashes he got from that Ursarang making it hard to walk properly at all. He falls, and Hayune quickly catches him.

"Ugh... why are you helping me anyway? What do you have to gain?" Rust asked.

Hayune shrugged. "Nothing really. Not much comes to mind. Just being nice. Also, I don't need you to come with me. Drifty's gonna carry you someplace safe. I found you on a strange feeling, so I bet if I roll with my senses, I'll get your pokemon back no problem."

Hayune released drifty close range, and in no time Drifty was floating up with Rust in tow. Rust thrashed violently once the initial disorientation wore off.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING?!?! I DON'T LIKE THIS, PUT ME DOWN YOU STUPID BALLOON!!!" Rust screams.

"OH YEAH, THRASH HARD ENOUGH TO MAKE DRIFTY DROP YOU AND YOUR GUTS SPLATTER ON THE TREES OR PAVEMENT OR WHATEVER!! SUCH A NICE PLAN! I'M GETTING THEM OUT A-OKAY; I PROMISE YOU'LL BE ALRIGHT TOO AS LONG AS THERE'S NO ROUGH WIND AND YOU STOP SQUIRMING! HAPPY FLYING! DRIFTY, PICK ME UP WHEN YOU'RE DONE WITH HIM!!" Hayune shouts up to them.

"Flooon~!" Drifty responds carelessly with a now very nervous Rust in tow.

Hayune smiles and waves at the two, and then starts to walk towards the strange facility. He and Valentine head towards the facility in the dark, avoiding the two voices laughing about what they left in the forest. 'I guess the perfect time to do this really is right now.' Hayune thinks to himself. He gets to an outer wall, and runs his hand along it. He had a bit of Rust's blood on his hand, and he smeared it. Well, at least he did a good job at making something sort of unsettling. Keeping up on the strange sense, he found a way through, a slight break in a chain section of fence. He and Sylveon slip in undetected, and he and Sylveon dash to the building. He swaps out to Babs, and has her use thunder in a specific spot. It shorts out the power for a large portion of that part of the building, and he gets through without tripping an alarm. Backup lights flicker on, but he stayed in the shadows and walked calmly and soundlessly. He had minimal white grunt encounters. Left, left, right, straight. He felt for doors to his left and counted: one, two, three, and then four. He takes a listen, and hears something fumbling in the dark. He has the strong feeling it's the right door, and opens it up.

He can make out a few scientists, crowded around where two pokemon were strapped down in dim backup light. Cubone and Sableye. One scientist looks to the door, and before he can even speak, Hayune got out Meowthkara and silenced him. He had Babs send a thunder through the floor to K.O the rest, and then carefully approached the two hostile Pokemon. The Sableye's left gem eye was cracked and he was missing some teeth, and the Cubone had an X-shaped gash on its chest and was covered in bruises. Both pokemon eye the new face cautiously. Hayune gives a kind smile, and has Meowthkara break them out.

"I'll be getting you back to your trainer, guys. He's a bit hurt, but he'll be okay. And a lot better once he sees you're both okay." Hayune says.

The Cubone and Sableye glance at each other, and huddle together to whisper a bit. Hayune spotted Cubone's bone on a shelf, and had Meowthkara bring it to Cubone. Cubone excitedly accepts it, and after Meowthkara does what seems to be a bit of sweet-talking, the Pokemon agree to go with Hayune. Hayune carries the pokemon, but soon hears voices down the hall and begins to run.
