Luna skipped up to the dorms with her class, in awe of what she saw all around her. She pulled out her wand from her pocket just to feel it. It was black walnut wood with a Phoenix feather core. She absolutely loved it.

This is real, she thought to herself. I'm a witch at this amazing school.With all of these magical things and people and it's just so awesome! She smiled as the prefect, Ellie Stone, knocked on the door. It began speaking. "I start and end with the letter e, I usually have one letter inside me. What am I?" Ellie and the rest of the first years talked a bit; then someone yelled out, "ARE YOU AN ENVELOPE?" Luna grinned as the door swung open to reveal a beautiful room. It had a night sky-that had shooting stars flying across it!- on the ceiling and a marble floor. There were windows and telescopes all around with thick blue curtains and blankets and so many bookshelves and soft chairs and a chessboard and a big, beautiful fireplace! She could hardly take it all in! Ellie showed them how a bookshelf opened to reveal a large room with many beds with blue curtains around them. She plopped down on one and donned her new blue robes. The girl next to her bed smiled shyly. "Hi, I'm Dove. Nice to meet you." Luna smiled back at her. "I'm Luna. Nice to meet you too!"

Dove's POV
Dove woke up in the middle of the night and was still half-asleep. Looking around her, she saw that Luna's bed was empty, except for a small, black, fuzzy pillow or something. She figured Luna had gone to the bathroom and fell back asleep. Dove had no memory of this event the next day.
