Luna woke up on September 1st at 5am. Ecstatic, she sprinted downstairs to her stepmom and dad waiting for her. "Happy birthday, sweetie!" She hugged them both. Luna wolfed down pancakes and then got to her presents. On the table was a package. She ripped it open and found beautiful, sleek robes inside of it. She put them on immediately, very excited. Today will be the first day of the rest of my life, she thought to herself.

Luna arrived at the train station. A girl with gray eyes flecked with amber and fiery red hair walked up to her. "Are you a witch, too? I'm Annie Weasley. And you?" "Luna Sapphire," she replied, grinning. "Here, my mom told me how to board the train." "Thanks, I had been a bit confused." Annie showed Luna how to get to the train station. They got on the train, and spent the ride trying Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans. There was a rush through the hallways. Luna and Annie looked out the window to see the school. They gasped in awe and were speechless.
