Well, here's part two of the Douchestuck story AU! I hope you all enjoy!

John turned around to look at him. "Oh? Hello there, my aesthetic." He gave Dave a little wink. While Dave wasn't one to admit things, that was actually a super good line to use on someone like him.

Dave rolled his eyes. "Yeah, so I'm not one to actually make plans with someone like you, but I feel like this could be something that's actually beneficial to you." Dave paused for a moment and thought it over. "I want to help you study. You seemed to be having a hard time doing your work in class."

John was generally surprised. "Strider, I don't have a hard time working in class!" That was a lie, obviously. His voice was high-pitched, so everyone at the table could tell.

"John," Dave said. "Don't lie. You need help, you just don't want it."

John was flustered. "Well, you're not wrong..."

Dave took this chance to speak. "So if I'm not wrong, will you let me help you with you're schoolwork?"

Everyone at the table gasped. Jane spit out her drink on Jake, which he welled after, "What the fuck, Janey?!"

"Shit dude, I'm sorry." She apologized. Dave looked at them and then went back to John. "So?"

John looked at him. Dave could see that he was thinking on it. John would be on some sort of "date" with Dave, but it would be related to school stuff, which isn't so great.

"Yeah, sure." John said. "I'd like that."

Dave smiled. "Okay then. Your house or mine?"

"Mine." John answered with a slight smile. While they're talking about details, Jane is still apologizing to Jake, while Jade is just pondering what the fuck just happened.

"Okay then. See you later." He makes finger guns at him.

Dirk looks at the table the J's were sitting at. Okay. It's time to ask the chill cheerleader out. This is gonna go well

Dirk walks over to them. The Jade one looks so done with life. Jake is soaked with some type of soda and Jane is apologizing to him. "Janey, can I spare a few minutes with you?"

Jane looks at him. "Oh, sure." She has absolutely no idea what's gonna happen. Poor girl

Dirk inhaled. 'It's alright, dude. You don't exactly have a crush on her. It's just asking her on a date. Be cool.' Dirk pulled her aside and breathed in.

-

"Listen," Jane suddenly panicked. Oh no, this was all too familiar. Every time a situation like this was about to happen, it started with that word. 'Listen.'

"You know, you're a pretty nice girl, so it had me thinking: maybe I should ask you out. But like, I've never really liked you in that way, so I don't know if this is awkward for you, or...?" Dirk explained

If Jane were to be honest, this was pretty awkward. She had never really liked guys that much. Or anyone, really. She's never had a crush before in her life. She didn't know what to identify as, so she just kept to herself. She's never felt any sort of desire to be in a relationship with anyone ever before.

But she's been in lots of situations like this. And in all of those situations, she said yes. It always lasted a few days, but then she has to break it off after telling all the boys that asked her out that she's never felt romantic attraction before. And she knew that they wouldn't appreciate that, so they left her. Surely, after all those times, she'd learn to say no, right?
