Snuggle Time

Tyler's POV:

I don't know exactly what happened between Jason and Serene, but I do have an idea. I think that they had sex, except for the fact that she was screaming throughout it. I wonder if she was a virgin before today? Jason left and then a couple minutes later Serene walked out of her room and came over to the couch that I am sitting on and sat next to me. She rested her head on my shoulder and neck. I changed the show to Vampire Diaries a show I know she likes and one I don't absolutely hate. She kisses me on the cheek. Maybe she likes me back? What did I just think that out loud ? She is very flirtatious, but she has Rose, a girlfriend and Jason, a I don't know what really. There was a part in the episode we were watching were the girl sleeps with her boyfriend's brother and she likes him better then her boyfriend. At this point I look over my shoulder to see that Serene is crying her eyes out. I have never done this before, how I am supposed to help her. I kiss her and then tell her she is going to be alright. We continue to watch the episode and when episode ends, I see that she is asleep on my shoulder. I try to see if she is awake and she wasn't. I kissed her on the lips, knowing that if she was trying to fake being asleep that would totally wake her up. She didn't budge. I picked her up and carried her to her bed. I laid her down and put the blankets over her so she would sleep better.  I then decided to go to bed after I watched about 3 hours of Netflix after actually getting in bed. The next morning, I woke up. I went for my daily morning run and when I came back, I made myself a protein shake and decided to make pancakes for Serene because she had such a rough night. I drank my shake and then made the batter for the pancakes. I wanted to make sure that Serene was still asleep, so that I could brighten her life by bringing her breakfast in bed like a romantic. She was asleep when I checked up on her. I remembered that I was super nice to her last night and charged her phone. Her phone buzzed and I had to check it or else it would keep pinging and Serene would for sure wake up. It was a text from Rose. I thought they were still dating. She said" I love you too and you were my first love ever. Us dating has been a dream of mine since we were little. I was so happy when we were dating, even when you were dating Xander and we would secretly make out, but I understand you. You will always be my first and best love, but I will put my feelings for you as a girlfriend behind my feelings for you as a best friend. Don't worry it will never be awkward. Our friendship will always be strong as it was what we were first and no matter what happens in our dating relationship, our friendship will never change. Love you and if I'm free if you want to talk today, we could go to the malls like old times. " Wow, those girls are deep. She needs to talk to Rose today, she's not going to talk to me about Jason and honestly I don't really want to know. Also she needs Rose as a friend right now. I left Serene's room to go downstairs to make Pancakes.After I finished making the pancakes, I took my phone and called Rose. She answered very shocked" Who the h*** is this?" I said" Calm down it's Tyler, I live with Serene and I think Serene could really use some girl time with you maybe even at the mall. " "Sure, ok, Only problem I can't drive." Then a masculine voice I couldn't really place said something , it was pretty faint so I'm not sure exactly what he said but it was something,like "I can drive though." Then Rose shhed him and thought she muted the phone, but she really didn't. She said" Xander we can't let them know that we are together and I have a feeling that Serene already knows, which is probably why she broke up with me and if she knew about us for sure she would never give me a shot again as a friend or a girlfriend. " I kept quiet.  Xander said " Well when she was dating me, she started seeing you and I was still your and her friends." This was getting good. Rose said" Really you consider yourself our friend, you only did things with us, like the fake date ,the movies, or the party that Serene had too much homework so we didn't even actually end up going, because one of us let's you kiss them or be with them. " She then pushed the mute button her phone which must have been broken but she didn't notice and began talking to me again. "We'll go to the mall, meet you at your house in 2 hours." I said" Sure, but tell Serene that it was all your idea because you have been missing her so much and just got your allowance or something. " She said" Why would I do that and why do you want me to do that?" I said" Because you are a good friend to Serene and hope that by being there for her she will one day be your girlfriend again and because you don't want her to know for certain that you are hooking up with her ex, who is also your guy's best friend. " she was shocked. I said" yeah I heard it all, you might want to get your mute button checked out. " She said" Ok see you in 2 hours Tyler."
