Dedicated to shiroyuki-hime I love you wwww and this is a very late birthday present... sorry about thatt
Mafumafu smiled brilliantly at Soraru, his white teeth flashing. Soraru was suddenly overcomed by the urge to wince and cover his eyes, but he suppressed it. Instead, he stood there, momentarily stunned, before shaking himself up mentally and going back to washing the dishes.
"Yes, Prince?" He kept his voice bored but formal, eyes focused on the task ahead of him. One slip- and these precious plates will fall and break, and it will be his monthly salary gone and his punishment.... he does not want the punishments.
"Don't call me Prince! Call me Mafu!" The albino whined again, and Soraru felt a rise if annoyance in his temper. "I'm doing something now, Prince, so can you please stop bothering me?" He phrased his question politely, and stiffly, and he watched as Mafu's -no, the Prince, you idiot- easygoing smile fall away, replaced by something that looks like hurt. That's good. Soraru told himself, trying to tune out the erratic beating of his heart in his ears. A prince and a servant could never be together in any form of relationship, even if it's just as friends.
"But- can't we be friends?" "No, Prince," Soraru bit out, glaring up at the albino. Mafu's shoulders slumped even more, and he even whimpered. His task done, Soraru ignored the prince and stood up, his hands balancing the tub full with plates. "...I'm getting engaged to a princess." He said this quietly, and Soraru paused. The servant wondered briefly why did this prince tell him this? He does not need to know this. But, anyway, he plastered on a fake smile and looked at the prince."Congratulations, my Prince." When Mafu's face fell again, his face looking as if someone had shattered his heart, Soraru wondered why and what he had said had done that to him, his grip slipped.....and the whole tub crashed onto the floor. The servant recovered fast enough to save some of the plates, but most of them had crashed and broke into pieces. He cursed, and glared at Mafu, who is staring wide-eyed.
Before the prince could speak, the other servants came crashing in. Soraru flinched slightly as the door banged open. One of them, probably the head servant, glared at the raven-haired male, who is on his knees. She doesn't seem to notice Mafu, who was hidden by the shadows."What did you do now?! Why does this always happen?!" She asked exasperated tone, before calling for another servant to bring the belt. Mafu just watched, mute, probably too shocked to do anything. Two other servants pulled Soraru, who was limp in their hands, to a wider space -the servants' chamber- and brandished the makeshift whip. With horror, Mafu could only watched as Soraru scream, as the whip hit his skin over and over again.

"I didn't know what's the punishments if you..." "-screw up?" Soraru let out a dry laugh. "How would you know? Why are you still here anyway, Prince?" Mafu but his lip, and look into Soraru's eyes. "I haven't finish my sentence." "Oh? Do tell me?" "I told then I have someone I like, and they backed off for now." "Oh." Soraru answered mindlessly, frowning at some of the wounds on his arm, as he looked and examined them. There are some brutal ones on his legs but most of them are imposed on his back. "Your wounds are bleeding!" Mafu sounded close to tears, and Soraru laughed before replying, "I am aware of that," his voice laced with sarcasm.
"Should I help you treat them?" Soraru blinked at Mafu. "You know how?" The albino pouted. "Obviously." And although Soraru's brain is screaming at him to not do it, to decline the offer, that it is inappropriate, that it's wrong....He accepted anyway.
