Lily's pov
"YOU'RE SO INFURIATING SOMETIMES" I shout as I huff and turn to face James standing across the other side of the room.
"Well I am sorry Lil but I don't like him" he bellows back.
We're arguing because I want to invite Severus to our wedding, we've only been engaged a couple months but we have already left Hogwarts and we want to be married as soon as possible.
"He's a greasy haired little git who's been vile to you for the past 4 years and now you've forgiven him you want me to have him at our wedding" his face is a mask of anger and I can Sense the hint of sarcasm in his voice.
"Yes James I do and I'd expect you to understand that after all we didn't exactly get on before two years ago and he's changed now he's trying you, could at least give him a chance" I can see him getting more and more annoyed with me but I don't see his problem it's my wedding too I should be able to invite someone if I want to.
"We might not have got on but I never treated you like that and if I'm honest lil no I don't see him ever changing he's a vile git and that's the end of it"
"Fine do you know what maybe this wedding wasn't such a good idea, if we're arguing over whose even going" I shout as I gesture towards the piles on unsent invites and small decorations on the kitchen table.
"Just take what you want and leave" I scream turning away from him.
"Alright then" he shouts.
I feel a pair of warm arms sweep me off my feet and begin the carry me to the door.
"James what are you doing" I scowl
"You told me to take what I want and leave, you're the only thing I want" his words immediately soften my frown and take away some of my anger, how am I meant to be annoyed at him when he says things like that.
He throws open the door and marches out into the snow placing me down just outside our home. His eyes fixed on mine he keeps his arms clasped around me. "If having him there is really what you want then I'm not going to argue but you can't expect me to forgive him after what he put you through" his sincere and loving hazel eyes glisten as snowflakes settle in his hair. "Okay" I whisper with a small smile, I hate that he has this effect on me but I guess that's what happens when you love someone more than you can even think possible.
