"Someone stop her!"

Man, these government officials are persistent. You'd think they would have stopped chasing when we hit the poorer part of town. Luckily I have a plan.

I make a sharp right down the alley straight, left, left and one more right and there it is! The old abandoned house where John taught me the art of being a hacker. It's an old, run-down gray house with plants climbing up and down the walls from years without a trim, a few boarded up windows and the entire thing could honestly use a good scrub.

Maybe I'll try fixing it up next time, but right now I have work to do. I run inside the house and down to the basement where an ancient computer sits. A little old but it should work. I turn it on and do what I do best--hack. I need to work fast before the government officials decide to start searching houses. In 10 seconds flat I've gotten past their first firewall, in another 5 I've hacked into their main database and in 3 more seconds I have complete access to most of the records. The tricky thing about hacking is that you have to cover your tracks as you go, if you don't well, lets just say the next time you touch a computer,it may be in prison.

I'm almost finished changing my records when suddenly I hear something creak behind me. I quickly finish changing everything and shut down the computer. I stay where I am for a moment and wait to see if the intruder slips up again. Then I hear it, a quiet exhale of breath and I'm running across the room with a knife in hand. I always have one on me, because when you live on the streets you learn pretty quickly to never leave yourself unarmed. The intruder starts trying to run, but it's too late. I've pinned them down and put my knife at their throat before they can even take a step.

"Sorry sweetie, but I prefer being on top." says the intruder and suddenly I'm being flipped over and pinned down. And staring into the blue, blue eyes of the intruder.

"You?! " I exclaim. "YOU'RE THE ONE THAT NEARLY GOT ME ARRESTED EARLIER!"

"Awww. That's mean. You would think someone would remember your name when you're as good looking as I am." he replies while pretending to be upset. "Well seeing as you forgot I'll just have to remind you. The name's Noah Ross," suddenly he leans down to whisper in my ear "and you, my dear, need to learn better techniques to pick up guys."

"GET OFF ME!" I shout as I try to push him off me.

"Now, now, mind your manners. What's the magic word?"

"If you don't get off me in the next 10 seconds I will personally carve up that pretty little face of yours." I snap.

"Oh, a feisty one! I like that." he says as he stands up.

He reaches a hand down to help me up but I ignore it and stand up on my own.

"Hey, thats no way to treat someone you just called pretty." he says while smirking. My face heats up but I manage to reply "The only one here who thinks you're pretty is yourself."

"Are you sure about that?" he says smirking, but I ignore him since I just remembered where we were.

"Wait....why are you here?"
