One Shot #4

Time since chemical wedding: 17

Warning: violence, weapons, smut

The massive steel warehouse, hidden in a forgotten corner of Gotham, stands alone on the shoreline in the dead of night. Rectangular, with sharp edges, our purple Lamborghini speeds towards it at thousand miles an hour; Joker's hand is stretched out against my upper thigh as we laugh together: ready for complete and utter chaos.

The lights against his skin reflect in my irises as I lean my head back in the leather seat, anticipation is building inside every bone in my body.

Tonight was a big deal for me; my first time accompanying him in what was almost a billion dollar transaction. And he had given me one simple instruction before we left the comfort of our tangled sheets:

'Wait for my cue.'

That was all he had said, and yet those words couldn't have been clearer. I was ready to play the game, and be in on the joke. This particular gang from the lower east side of the city was dangerous; they were reckless, unpredictable, and complete wild cards.

But so were we.

And we were unstoppable.

We were anticipating eight of them to be already in the warehouse: big, built, tatted, and dark eyed. The leader of the gang was Null. Known to kill with a snap of a neck, he had acquired a reputation that normally would've shook me to my core.

Now the recklessness of the situation only ignited my senses.

I was ready.

I would get the punchline.

I would make him smile.

The car pulled into the parking lot, and I twirled one of my pigtails in my fingers while I waited for him to turn the engine off. Once the colorful lights flickered off, he turned to face me, his red lips and dazzling eyes standing out in the darkness as his orbs grew wide,

"You're...missing something, baby."

Confused, I gazed at him, trapped by the shimmering sea of blue and green staring into me. He brought a hand to my face, and in a forceful motion pulled me into a kiss, and immediately I let his tongue into my mouth, moaning as his lips sparked a thousand flashes of light inside me. My eyes fluttered shut, letting my anticipation and hidden nerves melt away as he made me forget myself. I was always helpless in his grasp.

He stole every ounce of my sanity.

His other hand cupped my cheek, and suddenly I felt his tongue push a heated object in my mouth, and I momentarily furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. But he pulled away and I tasted it immediately- a piece of minty gum. I laughed and began chewing it immediately, and he smirked when I blew a small bubble that popped against my lips. His pupils dilated as his eyes lingered on my mouth,

"Much better. Now let's go play."

He opened his driver seat door and I opened mine, hopping out onto the pavement. His voice was low when he called out,

"Aren't you missing something else?"

I spun around to face him, and he sauntered over to me with my golden handgun in his hand. He pulled me by my belt closer to him, to the point where our bodies were nearly touching, and my breathing became erratic as he let his fingers linger near my low cut shorts. He slowly put the gun in my pocket, his chest rising up and down as he breathed against my ear. I moved to put my arms around his neck, begging for more of his passionate touch, but he grabbed them midair, breaking the tension as he whispered,

"Only when it's just you and me, baby. Later."

He stepped away from me, composing himself as I giggled into my palm. Taking gold of a small piece of the gum, I used a single finger to stretch it out and twirl it as I let my eyes grow wide with excitement,

"Can't wait, Mr. J."

Smirking back at me, he grabbed his phone out of his purple jacket and made a quick call to Frost, his voice dark and his orbs never leaving my body as he whispered,

"Be ready. Wait for my sign."

Hanging up the device and putting it back in his coat, he snaked an arm around my waist as he whispered down my neck,

"Remember, Harls: make 'em laugh, and you have a piece of them."

"Yes, Daddy."

His smirk grew wider,

"Now let's go put a smile on their faces."

We were unstoppable.

And now it was time to prove it.
