We Love Each Other

Chapter 9

*Loud whistle blowing*

"Every body line up! We're getting some work done today!" The coach yelled as he continuously blew the whistle.

I slowly went up to the line and stood at the end.

The coach walked down the line checking everyone. He looked extremely mean. After checking everyone else, he got to the end of the line, which is where I am currently standing.

As the coach stands infront of me, I take a huge gulp and revert my eyes elsewhere, but his face.

"Where is your gym clothes young lady?" He asked me.

I was terrified of him but I tried my best not to show it.

I tried to revert my eyes back to his face the best that I could but, I could only look at him for a split second before looking elsewhere again.

While contemplating on how to answer the scary gym coach, the office lady walks into the gym.

"Coach!" She yelled out while jogging over to where we stood.

"Oh, hello Ms.Guardian." The coach says as he reverts his attention to the office lady who had just stood beside us.

'Guardian?' I asked myself, once I heard what the coach just called the office lady.

Confused, I look at the office lady's name tag and wondered why her name is not on it but, "office lady" is.

Her name tag literally says "office lady" as if that's her name.

"Hello. I just came to tell you about the new student." The office lady says, and then looks at me.

"Oh, there she is." She says as she points at me and chuckles.

"Her mother says that she doesn't like to talk, so please excuse her. Also she probably doesn't know all of the rules and regulations yet, so please take it easy on her." The office lady explains to the gym coach with a desperate look on her face.

"Well, okay." The coach says as he smiles at the office lady, or should I say, Ms.Guardian.

"Do you even know all of the rules and regulations?" Coach jokingly asked Ms.Guardian.

"You've only been here for a very short time your self." He soon after chuckles making Ms.Guardian chuckle along with him.

"Alright, I should hurry and go now. Bye coach." Ms.Guardian says as she walked off.

She then turned around and started walking backwards, waving, as she mouthed to me "Bye Angel" before turning back around and fully leaving the gym.

My attention was then reverted back to coach as he says, "Alright since you're new, I'll let you off for not having gym clothes. I'll let you get used to everything here first, but next week, have that uniform off, and have some gym clothes on. Do you understand?"

I nodded my head yes, in a hurry so that he could kinda............ya know...............get away from me.

After getting each other's understandings, coach stood back alittle, looking at all of the students.

In other classes, the students were extremely loud and rowdy, but I guess they didn't dare be that way infront of coach.

They stood in line and behaved like normal students should.

"We are missing some students, I see. Any idea where they are?" Coach says as he rubs his chin.

As he waited for an answer............."We're here!"
