Chapter 1

[Angel's P.O.V]

"Angel over here please." The Orphanage lady said to me ,acting nice infront of a client. I walk over to the table with the orphanage lady and her client. "Mrs.Kim ,this is Angel. She doesn't like to speak ,so please excuse her."

"Oh ,I understand." Mrs.Kim said softly. "Angel ,Mrs.Kim would like to adopt you." The orphanage lady said to me. I couldn't help but to think to myself ,'Wow is this really happening? Am I finally getting adopted?'

"Yes ,Angel. I would like to adopt you." Mrs.Kim said with broken English.

I looked at her when she said that ,and then looked at the ground unsure of what to do. "Like I said before ,please excuse her for not speaking." The orphanage lady said to Mrs.Kim. "It's fine." Mrs.Kim replied.

"Angel ,I want you to become a part of my family." Mrs.Kim spoke again in broken english. Her accent sounded a bit Korean.

~Mrs.Kim's phone rings~

"Yeoboseyo. Ah yeobo ,naega eseo geumankeum goawon. Ne ,ne. Arassuh. (Hello. Ah honey ,I am at the orphanage. Yes ,yes. Alright.)"

~Phone call ends~

"Ah ,sorry. That was my husband." Mrs.Kim said. "It's fine." The orphanage lady then responded. "Angel ,would you like me to adopt you? I would really love to." Mrs.Kim said.

"Well Angel ,what do you say?" The orphanage lady asked me. I could tell that she was waiting for me to say yes so she could finally feel free from me. "Maybe you should tell her a bit about yourself and where she will be living."

"Well ,My name is Kim Younji. I have a wonderful husband and son. My husband's name is Kim Nim and my son is Kim Taehyung. I really want a second child but ,me and my husband get very busy with work and also I think it makes Taehyung lonely."

I listened to her explaining why she wanted to adopt a new child. I didn't really know how to feel. 'Do I say something?' I thought to myself.

"Where will you be living?" The orphanage lady asked Mrs.Kim.
"In seoul Korea." Mrs.Kim replied. This is America ,Seoul Korea is a bit far.

This will be interesting ,if I decide to say yes.

[Taehyung's P.O.V]

"Son ,you do know why your mother is in America right now ,don't you?" Dad said to me. "Obviously I do." I said in an upset tone. "Why ,why is she doing this?"

"Why does she always have to do something so dramatic and stupid?" I asked my dad already knowing what his response would be like. "You know that your mother always wanted another child ,and besides she keeps thinking about you being lonely." Dad said.

"If she thinks about me being lonely then why does she work all the time? Why do you work all the time ,and what's even the point of having another child when you and mom won't even be around?" Before my dad could answer ,I stomped to my room. I'm pissed.

'Out of all the things in the world to do ,why did she have to do this?' I kept asking myself. She's crazy ,my mother is crazy. A new sibling is going too far. What an embarrassment this will be.

[Angel's P.O.V]

"Angel ,you know that this is your first chance getting adopted. Why don't you take this chance?" The orphanage lady said to me and gave me a fake smile in front of Mrs.Kim. That fake smile on her face made me annoyed. I couldn't wait to get away from this evil lady.

"Yes ,Angel. What do you say?" Mrs.Kim asked me. I thought for a few seconds and came to the conclusion that I am ready to leave this nasty place. No matter if I have to travel halfway across the world ,I want to leave this orphanage.

"So?" Mrs.Kim said softly , hoping that I would say yes. I then nodded my head , signaling her yes.

"Yay!" Mrs.Kim said excitingly.
"Alright ,Angel go pack your things while Mrs.Kim signs some paperwork and then you'll be ready to go."

I did as I was told and packed my bags. I'm so happy that I can finally leave this place ,and I'm happy that I don't have to see that evil bitch (orphanage lady) anymore.

"Are you leaving?" One of the orphanage girls asked me while I was packing. I nodded my head to tell her yes. I kinda felt bad knowing that she was still gonna be here while I was gone. We never really had a real conversation but ,she spoke to me and I always nodded.

She understood that I was just really quiet. "It was nice knowing you. Good luck." She said to me softly as we waved to each other as I walked out of the room.

"Alrighty Angel ,you're ready to go." The orphanage lady said. "Oh thank you so much. Are you ready?" Mrs.Kim said to me. I nodded yes.

We started to head out of the orphanage. "Bye Angel." The orphanage lady said with that evil smile of hers. While Mrs.Kim turned her back to walk out of the door and get in the cab ,I shot up my middle finger to the orphanage lady slyly and then got into the cab.

Just before the cab pulled off ,I saw the orphanage girl waving at me through the window. I waved back to her and then the cab pulled off and drove to the airport.

Our plane arrives and it's finally time for me to leave. To a new place ,to a new home. 'This is it.' I thought to myself as I got on the plane with Mrs.Kim.
