One step at a time

Chapter 1

It was first day of school in August and Li was not ready at all for freshman year. As she looked at her selection of pants she found nothing that would look good for her first day of school.

"Orientation is today right?" yells Mom.

"Yes it is Ma" answers Li.

Nothing to do but just pick I guess thinks Li. Picking out a long pair of jeans and her red t-shirt for orientation, she set down to school.

"Don't worry you'll do fine, just.. be you" says her older brother Ty

"Easy for you to say" mutters Li.

As Ty drops her of and leaves Li looks up at her school which hopefully she'll stay in for four years. She walks in and goes to her locker and put her stuff inside. Two girls come up to her.

"Hey are you new here?" asks girl 1

"Yup, just got in......" says Li while cursing herself for sounding like a idiot.

"Cool, well I'm Ali and this is Kate." says Ali while pointing at Kate who gave a small wave.

Li hanged out with the girls and made more friends , like this girl name Lilly. This was a Private school one that's very hard to get in to.   Nicolas school a school were it hold the best education. Li went and looked around at the classrooms thinking this is were I'm going to be for a loooooong time. When there was a signal for all to go to the auditorium she followed the rest and sat down. It looks like a movie theater thought Li. The seniors showed a small video of the school and then separated us into groups. We all got a bandanna and went out to the back of the school. Li then met him for the first time.

Tall, tan, toned and really really hot. Ryan a senior who is now  going to be the first thing I'm glad for in my "Enjoy the Little things" journal thought Li. Just kidding the first thing in my "Enjoy the little things" will be my first day.

They all went to the fields and played little games, soccer, Frisbee, race and a beach ball partner game. Li was teamed up with Ryan , not that we did won but we tried.

Li went through her first day of school still surviving and wanting to do her best.

Li really really wanted to talk to a lot of people but didn't know what to say and was afraid she'll make a fool of herself.
On the second day Li went to school in their Monday -Thursday attire which consist of skirts, pants with belts, polo shirt with school logo, white or blue socks and tan loafers. As she walks through the  hallway she sees Ryan but as she was about to say hi she tripped.... on nothing but the carpet. Blushing Li makes a turn and a beeline to the girls bathroom.

"Uuuugh what to do, I tripped right in front of him" says Li." But the good thing is that... I didn't fall to the ground right next to his feet.. that a plus..... NO its not!"

Li breathes in and breathes out " I can do this." but inside what she really said is "Can I do this?". She exited the bathroom and went to her homeroom.
