The art club got done and Li waited for her mom to pick her, to go home. Her mom pulled up and once she was in she asked.
"Mom there is a basketball game tonight" says Li. "Can I go? It is a home game."
Li's mom castes a quick glance at Li and smiled.
" Sure sweetie you can go." Answers Mom.
Li went home to change her clothes settling on a black shirt with a butterfly on it and jeans with sneakers. She pulled her hair up in a ponytail and set out to the game. Ty dropped her off and Li went to find her friends.
She got in when she heard whooping and loud cheers. Li ducked in and heard people screaming, cheering the game on.
"Go Lions!!!!!!!" Screams a man.
Li found her friend Lily with the rest of her schoolmates.
Li waved at her and came up beside her.
"Did I miss anything?" Asks Li.
"Nope! Maybe now something interesting will happen." Lily smiles.
They stood to get a better look of the game. Ryan had the ball and was racing down the court making a lay up. He shoots and..... SCORES!!!! It made it. Everyone jumped to their feet yelling out his name.
Chanting it.
"Ryan!Ryan!Ryan!" Chants everyone.
A senior girl in Ryan class jumps in front of the crowd.
"I say Ryan! You say King!" Senior girl. "Ryan-"
"King!"
"Ryan-"
"King!"
Everyone yelled out his last name and the adrenaline pumped through her blood jumping up when they made a basket. All this excitement made her cheer with the rest of the school.
After the game Li waited around for the boys to come out and gave each of them high fives and good job remarks. When Ryan came out Li ran up to him her hand raised for the high five.
"Good job Ryan! You played well." Li says while grinning.
Ryan returns the high five.
"Thanks I do my best to be the best. Just kidding everyone out there did a great job ." Ryan says this while smiling to himself. " I remember when I first came here I was never that good but they never gave up on me."
" And look now your a superstar." Says Li nudging Ryan with her elbow. "Well I gotta go but again good game."
Li ran out of the gym with the echo of Ryan saying good bye to her.
