Luke's P.O.V.

I've spent most of my day just sitting outside. A lot of it was spent thinking about what I was recently told.

I hope everything is okay with Vic.

She doesn't deserve any of this.

All of the stress, confusion, the pressure of it all.

Michael sits next to me and he looks upset.

"If you have bad news from Vic I don't want to hear it." I tell him.

He quietly sits back and my head drops into my hands.

"He's gone isn't he?" I question.

"Yea." He chokes out.

"Fuck." I whisper.

"She..she's so devastated.. This shouldn't have happened to her." He softly says.

"I should call her.." I say.

"Don't yet, she just fell asleep a couple hours ago." He replies.

I groan in response.

This happening makes me feel even worse than I already did about how I treated her while she was here. Half of the time was spent fighting and it shouldn't have been.

I go back inside and see Calum sitting on the sofa with Ashton as they watch something on tv.

"Hey, want to watch the rest of this?" Calum asks.

"No thanks. I'm just going to go upstairs.." I reply.

He nods in response and I make my way upstairs.

I get to my room and my phone rings.

Vic is calling?

"V-Vic?" I answer.

"Luke..." She cries.

Hearing her cry like this makes me so upset.

"I heard what happened. I'm so sorry.." I tell her.

"I.. I need you. I-I can't do this.." She sobs.

"I'd do anything to be with you right now you know that, but I can't. I need you to stay strong for me okay baby? I love you so much, it's going to be okay." I say, choking up.

"I-I can't Luke. I can't be strong. He's gone. It hurts too much. I don't want to do this anymore.." She cries.

"Vic, baby please don't do anything you'll regret, please.." I start to cry, "It's going to be okay. Please Vic, I need you to be strong."

There's nothing I can do to help her, or stop her when I'm across world from her.

"I.. I have to go now. Bye Luke." She says ending the call.

"Fuck!" I shout running a hand through my hair.

I go back to my phone and call Jess.

Both Calum and Ashton come running into my room.

"What's going on?" Ashton asks.

I put up my hand signalling for him to hold on.

"Hello?" Jess says.
