James P.O.V



"Wake up lover boy" Someone yelled pouring water over my head. The freezing water hit my face and I gaspped as I shot up in bed.

"Shit man, what are you doing" I moaned wiping some water off my face

"It;s your date, gotta get up and ready!" Connor smiled

"Did you have to wake me up with water?!" I asked getting out of bed

"No, but it looked like fun" He smiled again before skipping out of the room. I turned to look at Tristan hiding in his bed with his face peeking out

"What are you doing" I laughed

"I was scared he would pour water on me so I cover up" He said still hiding in his bed

"You can come out now" I laughed

"I know but it's comfy" He smiled and I laughed before leaving. I walked in to see if Brad was awake. I pushed open the door to see Connor had re collapsed on his bed and Brad was gone.

"Hey! You wake me, you then have to get up" I said jumping on Connor

"No, I had to wake you up, Brad told me to" He moaned shoving me off him

"Where is Brad?" I asked

"Downstairs" He mumbled and I walked out and down to join Brad in the kitchen

"Morning" I smiled and he looked up from the cooker and smiled

"Hey, ready for your date?" He asked

"I've never been this nervous to Impress someone" I said sitting down at the breakfast bar

"You should be, she's a monster" He winked

"Stop it" I moaned

"Look, she said yes, thats a good start" He laughed

"Yes, but what if she decides after today I am a boring and ignores me for as much as she can" I said suddenly getting worried, "Oh god, she hates me"

"Dude!" Brad yelled throwing some water in my face

"TWICE! Is it throw water in James face day?" I shouted

"Yes it is" He laughed, "Chill out, I know she's not going to think your boring, you have a great day planned and when you two start going out, if you break her heart, I will break yours"

"What" I asked

"I'm joking" He smiled, "But you hurt her, and it will not go down well"

"I promise you, I won't hurt her" I said

"Swear" He said

"I swear" I said and fist pumped him

"Good, now want some breakfast?" He asked holding up the pan and I laughed before getting up and grabbing two plates.

*Later in the day*

"Right, have a good time, I know she'll love it" Brad smiled

"Do us proud!" Connor yelled

"Just have fun" Tris said as I walked down the drive to the car

"Thanks guys" I laughed and got in the car. Brad and I had been out this morning to check everything and it was all in place. I'd rented a open top jeep today and was lucky it wasn't raining! I started the car and drove to Charlies house. I got there and knocked on the door,

"Hi" Charlie smiled opening the door

"Hey" I smiled as she walked out, she looked beautiful

"So where are we going?" She asked

"Well, you'll find out" I smiled and lead her to the car

"Where did this come from?" She asked laughing

"It's mine" I winked as we got in the car

"What! No it's not!" She said

"Ok, so it's mine for today" I laughed

"Why this car" She asked

"Well, I needed one with an open top and I thought, why not a jeep!" I smiled as we set off

"Well, I think it's cool" She smiled, "But what if it rains?"

"Let's hope it doesn't" I said and she laughed. I drove to our first destination,

"Right are you ready for the Mcvey tour" I said as I pulled in to the wood

"Your taking me on a tour of the wood?" She asked raising her eyebrows

"Nope, I'm taking you all over the country" I smiled and nodded my head towards the first thing for us too see. I pulled up the car but kept it running. There was a big cardboard map propped up against a tree. On, the map was lines/arrows with places showing where I had been, I tried to do them in order....

"If there's a house, it means, I've lived there, and then if there's a family, it was with my family, and if it's the band, it with the band" I explained

"You lived in Chester?" She asked

"Yup" I nodded, "I moved down south when I was 4" and I started the car again

"Where are we going now" She asked

"I am taking you to all those places" I smiled and she laughed as we moved along in the wood. We didn't go very far before making it to chester zoo

"The zoo?" She laughed turning to look at me

"I didn't know what else to do for chester" I laughed as we moved on. We drove round a corner and arrived at a 'beach'.

"What is that" She laughed

"It's meant to be a beach, you don't know how hard that one was!" I laughed as we quickly moved on. We went to various other places around the UK which I had done a rubbish job of creating, just like the beach... We got to the last one and the I pulled up the car,

"That was brilliant" Charlie smiled

"Really?" I laughed, "I thought it was rubbish"

"No I thought it was great, very inventive" She winked, "I've learnt everything I need to know about you"

"Well, there's one more thing to know" I said getting out the car

"What's that?" She asked as I opened her door and helpped her out the car

"Well, I love chicken" I said as we walked along a bit in the woods some more

"Right ok" She laughed

"Now I'm hoping you like it" I said holding my breath

"Um, well not really" She mumbled

"What! Brad said you did" I moaned

"I'm joking!" She laughed

"Man, that was evil" I laughed

"Good to know you want to gte this right though" She winked

"Well, anyway" I laughed, "I am taking you to my favourite resterant"

"So you like to eat in the middle of the woods" She asked

"Nope, it's nando's, I just had it moved to the woods" I smiled as we walked out in to an open part. There was a picnic table with a basket of food set up. She smiled as we walked over and I opened the basket,

"A plate" I smiled handing her one, "And some chicken"

"Thank you" She smiled as she took a plate and some chicken. I bought out some more food and we piled up our plates and then ate and talked. It went really well!

Brad's P.O.V

James had been gone for a least an hour and the boys and I had just been chilling round the house and playing on the guitars, drums and even the piano. We were running through one of our songs when my phone rang,

"I'll just get it" I told the boys as I got up and answered my mobile

"Hello" I answered

"Brad" I heard a mumbled

"Yeah" I said, "Who is this?"

"It's Mia" Mia spoke

"Are you ok?" I suddenly asked

"Um yeah, would you be able to pick me up?" She asked

"Um, sure where are you?" I asked

"At a club" She said and then gave me the name

"Is it alright if I bring Con and Tris with me?" I asked, "I can leave them here but knowing them they may put more stuff in my bed" I remembered last night seeing just about everything from my room and the spare room on my bed. It took ages to put back to normal!

"Yeah I don't mind" She said

"Alright, I'll be there soon" I said and hung up, "Boys, we're going to get Mia"

"What happened?" They asked

"I'm not sure, but she's in a club somewhere" I said

"Ok" They said and we all walked to the club in town. I hadn't been there before but I knew where it was as I'd walked passed it a few times. From what I knew it wasn't the nicest club ever. We arrived outside and I was Mia sat on the pavment,

"Mia" I said going to sit by her

"Brad" She said turning to me and put her arms round me before crying on my shoulder. I looked clueless up at the boys and they looked just as clueless as me. I turned back to Mia and put my arms round her

"Mia, what happened?" I asked

"Please take me home, I'll explain then" She mumbled and I nodded

"But we're going back to mine" I said and picked her up in my amrs before carrying her back to mine. We walked barely talking, the boys didn't know if they should say anything to Mia and to be honest I didn't think she was in the mood to talk right now... We got back home and I placed her of the sofa. She curled up and turned to face the sofa,

"Mia, do you want anything?" I asked crouching my the sofa and putting my hand on her shoulder

"Brad, please leave me" she whimpered

"Would you rather go upstairs?" I asked and she did nothing, con put a hand on my back a motioned me to follow him out. I sighed and got up and left Mia on the sofa,

"I don't know what to do" I sighed putting my head in my hands before

"Well you can't do anything until you know what's wrong" Con said

"I know, I just want to help" I sighed still looking down, "I don't have a clue what she was doing last night..."

"Let's face it, she looks like a bit of a slapper right now" Tris mumbled

"Tris!" I said snapping my head up

"Look I'm sorry but let's face it, if you saw her in that club last night what do you expect!" He said

"She wouldn't do that" I said looking over my shoulder to see her still curled up in the sofa

"Well, we either leave her or drag it out of her" Con said

"Why don't one of you try?" I asked

"Hey she's your girlfriend" Tris said putting his hands up

"She's not my girlfriend" I said giving I a glare

"Sorry! It's hard to remember she's not with you..." Tris said

"I'll go" Con said walking over to the living room and tris and I followed but stopped at the door frame. Con gently sat down by Mia,

"Mia, we're not going to hurt you, we just want to help" he said

"I know... It's just" she started and then broke down in tears again

"Maybe if you talk to us it will help" He said

"No you'll all judge me" She whispered

"We wouldn't do that, we're not like that, and I know brad only wants to help you Mia, he would never hurt you" Con said and she mumbled and reply and brad motioned me to come over,

"Mia" I said

"Please may I borrow some clothes" she asked

"Yeah of course, do you want me to bring some down?" I asked

"No, I'll come up" she said and weakly got up. We walked to my room and I got out a hoodie and some bottoms,

"Here go you, I'll leave you to get changed" I said handing the clothes over to her before walking over to the door,

"Brad wait" Mia said and I turned round

"I'll tell you what happened, but please don't judge me" she said and I could tell this was hard for her

"Mia my thoughts on you will never change" I said walking over to her

"And it's my problem so you don't need to worry about it" She said

"I'll always worry about you" I whispered and she looked to the floor

"Brad" she mumbled

"Sorry" I sighed sitting down on the bed

"Do you want to know?" She asked

"Please tell me" I said as she sat down on the bed

"Ok" she sighed......
