Brads P.O.V

Today is a week since the boys got here. Time goes so fast... But we still have 2 weeks left, and then we're off again, but more perminantly, I just haven't told Charlie yet...

"Ok, another day of practising, we've been buncking off a bit" Tris said as we all laid on sofas in the living room. We'd just got up and were sorting out what we are going to do today.

"Sounds good, no one mae any plans did they" Con said and we all turned to James

"What?" He asked looking at us like we were weird

"We're not going to have Charlie dragging you away again today?" I asked

"No! We'll as far as I know she's not" He said and then started to sound worried

"Don't worry, I think she's working today" I laughed

"She has a job?" They all asked looking shocked

"Why hasn't she been at it for the past week?" Tristan asked

"She works with her mum somethings when she needs help, it's not very often but she does get paid" I said, "She's saving up for uni as well"

"Do you know where she's going?" Con asked

"I haven't asked accually, I really should, but she doesn't go until October" I said

"Oh cool, anyway, time for practise, come on!" James said and we all got up, another day of sitting in our pyjamas, writing misuc, messing around and eating! Sounds like a good day.

"Ok, thats done!" Tristan smiled, we'd just finished producing a song

"Hey. ever think while we're here we should do a concert or something" James said

"What do you mean" I asked

"Well, theres gotta be a club round here that lets people gig in it. why not have a gig for some fun?" He said

"That's not a bad Idea, it's another way to practise as well" Tris said

"There is a club in town that does gigs once a month" I said

"When's it's next one?" James asked

"I'm not sure, we could go down and ask, see if they can fit us in?" I said

"Then lets get dressed and go!" Con cheered and we all made our way upstairs

"Man, I was liking our Pyjamas days" I said as Connor and I got changed in my room

"Me too, but I prefer playing live than being in my pyjamas" Connor laughed

"I don't know, I really like my pyjamas" I said and connor gave me a look as if to say, really.... "I'm joking!"

"Good, I seriously thought you would prefer to be at home doing nothing that being on stage with us!" Con said turning back to get ready

"Of course not! I love performing, I wouldn't want to do anything else!" I laughed and then continued to get changed as well. Once we were all dressed we heading back downstairs to pull on our shoes.

"All ready?" I asked and they all nodded before we headed out the door and walked in to town. We thought about driving but chose to walk and there wasn't much point driving. We finally got to the club and walked in to the reception. Its quite a bit place but not hug, I've thought about playing here before, before I was in the band but I never got round it to.

"Hello, how may I help you?" The lady on reception asked

"Hey, we were wondering when your next gig is" James asked

"It's this Friday" She said

"We know its short notice, but would there be anyway that we would be able to perform?" Con asked

"I don't know" She said," We've sorted out the line up already" she started tapping away on her computer

"We know but is there anyway at all to fit us in?" I asked

"Let me go and get the manager, stay here" She said and walked off through a door behind the desk. Not long after she came back with a man

"Here they are" The girl said sitting back down in her seat

"Wait, are you guys The Vamps?" The man asked, we looked at each other and then nodded

"Yes we are" Tris said, "You know who we are?"

"My daughter loves you, I had to drive her to one of your shows this summer" He laughed

"Aw, well thank you very much" James smiled

"So, what can I do for you boys?" He asked

"We were wondering if theres anyway you could fit us in for this Fridays gig" I said

"Well, we are very full this friday" They man said, "But my daughter would kill me if I told her I'd turned away The Vamps"

"Sir, we do need a headlining act" The girl said showing the man her computer screen

"Your right, how would you guys feel about headlining?" He ask turning to us. We all looked at each other and smiled

"We'd love to" Tris smiled

"Well then, the show starts at 8 on Friday, be here at about 5 so we can get through sound check and everything set up, then doors open at 7, you have 15 minutes so you have 4 or 5 songs, it's a local thing though so we'd prefer it if you didn't post it on twitter or facebook as we don't have the sucurity to keep you save with a lot of fans outside" He explained

"That's fine, we won't post it anywhere" James said

"Thank you, see you Friday" He smiled before walking off

"Come on, let's head out for something to eat" I said and we headed for the door. We walked down the road to a small cafe which had salads, snadwiches and other things like that. We all ordered a drink and some food,

"Shall we choose our set list?" Tris asked

"Yeah good idea, wanna write it down on your phone?" I asked

"Yup" Tris nodded and pulled out his phone, "So, Can We Dance"

"Wild Heart" Con said and Tris typed it down

"Cecilia?" James suggested and we all nodded

"She was the one" Tris said and we all agreed again

"Why don't we write a new song as well?" I suggested

"Why a new one?" Connor asked

"Well, we're writing songs anyway for are album, so we can write one, play it for the club, if the responce is good, then we can think about putting it on the short list for the album?" I said

"That's not a bad way to test out a song" James said

"Ok Brad, it's your idea, you are start the song" Tris winked

"Oh thanks!" I laughed, as our food came. We all ate our food before paying and then walked back home and getting back to practise. I started on the song while the boys all practised she was the one. I got the chorus and the start of the first verse on the song before playing it to the lads. They helped finish the first verse and then we decided to head to bed.
