I’m finally gaining on the Winchesters; Dean must finally be getting tired, or perhaps they need gas. I hope they need to stop for something, because I would love to take a break and dig out some sort of food. I haven’t had anything to eat since I finished off Dean’s french fries at the diner, and that was hours ago.

Then I realize why they’ve slowed. They turned off onto another road, one that must have lower speed limits. I look at the GPS more closely, scanning the map for town names. It looks like the boys are headed for a small town called Amory. Either they’re tired and decided to stop for the night, or this is where their next job is.

I keep an eye out for the turn off, very nearly missing it. As I race down the dark tree-lined country road, it’s me who’s speeding, not Dean. I back off when I’m within five miles of them. I don’t want to get too close, they might recognize my car. It was parked right behind theirs at the diner after all and you don’t survive this life by being oblivious to details.
