Why did he hug me? Maybe naawa lang sa akin.

But still a tap in the back will be just fine.

Bakit din sya nagsorry? It wasn't his fault that I lost my necklace.

"Haaay Lia wag mo ng bigyan ng kulay. It's just a friendly hug." I said to myself.

Isinampay ko na yung nilabahan ko na puting panyo ni Lance. Kailangan ko pa itong ibabad ng matagal para lang mawala yung dumi.

I glance at my shoe with narrowed eyes.

"Kasalanan mo ito eh! If hindi mo naisipang ibuka yang bigbig mo that time eh di dapat di tayo napahiya." I hissed at the old thing.

After ko madikit yung sapatos ko I knock at Iya's room. Mukhang nagtatampo pa sya sa akin.

"Iya papasok na ako." I said pero there was no response.

I sadly went out of the apartment. Eksakto pagbukas ko ng pinto Aris and Nico are already waiting outside.

"Hi!" Aris greeted.

Nasaan kaya si Lance? Magaling na kaya sya? Papasok kaya sya?

"Are you looking for Lance?" Tanong ni Aris. Bigla naman akong nahiya. Napaka obvious ko yata.

"Kanina pa sya umalis. He went out. Sabi nya may aasikuhin pa sya kaya mauna na tayo."

The three of us headed for school. I don't know why pero pakiramdam ko itong dalawa kong kasama parang nakapa tahimik and they keep on looking around na parang napaka cautious nila bigla. Even Aris na napaka bubbly before tahimik din ngayon.

Ano bang meron?

Pagdating sa M.U we parted ways. When I went inside the room sinalubong agad ako ni Divine.

"Lia you won't believe what my dad told told me." Lia exclaimed.

"Ano naman yun?" I curiously ask.

"Knight stole something at a Temple then he killed everyone in it!"

Nagulat ako sa sinabi ni Lia. Hindi ako makapaniwala.

I took out my phone and started watching some videos of news about what happened.

"A total of ten monks massacred after a Temple inside a mountain of a village. It is believed that the vigilante thief Knight is responsible for the brutal killing." Sabi nung reporter then Ninong Ed was interviewed.

"Wala pa naman kaming tiyak na suspect since pagdating namin hindi naman naaktuhan si Knight sa pagpaslang sa kanila but it will be useful he comes out and clear his name. Hindi pa namin ma-interview yung isang nabuhay na monghe since wala pa itong malay. He is under witness protection program."

The video ended there.

"Nakakatakot na si Knight Lia. Siguro dapat i give up mo na yung pagsunod sunod sa kanya." Payo ni Divine.

"I don't think he is capable of killing anyone Divine." I said.

"Huh? Dad said si Knight lang yung nandun sa temple when they arrived. Sino pa bang ibang gagawa nung dun sa monks?"

I shook my head. There must be an explanation to all of this. Naniniwala akong Knight isn't capable of doing anything like that.

I have to see Knight. Kailangan kong malaman yung totoo. But how can I contact him? Should I hire him?

I open my bank passbook savings and sighed at the 4 digit number inside of it.

Mukhang impossible yatang ma-hire ko sya.
