Alya's P.O.V

The mountain was not as impressive as I thought it would be. I was expecting some grand gate announcing it to be the legendary entrance to the original home of the dragons. I mean this is the place where they descended from heaven, this is where they bestowed their powers upon the original dragon warriors, this is the place the crimson dragon became human for crying out loud! But it's a rock, a giant rock, and we have to climb the stupid thing.

"Is this it?" I Yun asked. I could sense another Gija tantrum coming.

"I'm sure it's more impressive at the top," I said cutting him off from verbally ripping Yun apart. He settled with huffing and scowling as we began our march up the mountain. I was wrong about one thing, it didn't get more impressive at the top because it got more impressive about half way up. As we came up over a ridge we all stared in shock, carved into the side of the mountain as if it were a part of the rock was a set of giant doors with symbols carved across them.

"I guess this is the entrance," Yona said.

"How are we supposed to get in there?" Hak muttered. We approached the doors and looking over the symbols carved into them something clicked.

"Guys see those holes near the middle of the doors?" I asked. Everybody looked up at them. They were really high up but they all nodded.

"What about them?" Yun asked.

"There are five of them, each has a symbol above it. If I'm seeing right that one on the end is a hand, the other end is a leg. The one in the middle is an eye I believe. Sin-ha?" I asked. He leaned back looking at them. He pointed to the far left.

"Hand, armor, eye, fire, leg." He listed off each of them.

"Like I thought, each of the five dragon warriors needs to be here to open the doors," I said.

"Well now that we have that figured out, how do you get up there?" Hak asked.

"Jae-ha, there are cracks and places to hang onto around them so if he jumps us up there we should be able to hold on," Zeno said looking pleased with himself.

"That works," I said. Soon enough each of us was hanging off the door until Jae-ha jumped up to his.

"Now what?" Gija called to the rest of us.

"I don't know, everybody put your hand in the hole!" I called so everybody could hear. Nobody looked too thrilled but without any better ideas, each of us shoved our hand into the hole. Suddenly something sharp pierced my hand and out of reflex, I pulled it. There was a tiny hole in the palm of my hand like a sewing needle had stuck it and blood beaded up in my hand. I looked around and saw the others had experienced the same thing I had. Next thing I knew the doors were rattling.

"JUMP!" Jae-ha shouted launching himself from his perch. The rest of us jumped from the door and scrambled back as the doors opened.

"How? I don't understand." Gija said once we had regrouped.

"Whatever stabbed our hands could probably tell if our blood was that of the dragons or not. Once it knew we were the five dragon warriors it opened for us." Zeno spoke up. He always surprised me, he didn't actually say a lot but when he did it was pretty smart.

"So can we go inside now?" Yun asked impatiently. So we headed inside. Inside it was dark despite the light pouring in from inside.

"There are torches on the walls," Yun said pulling one off and holding it out to me. I snapped my fingers and nothing happened. I held out my hand but no matter what I did the fire didn't come.
