Next Day
....
"So there is a surprise party tonight. It's for Mac, like a going away party." I explain to my boyfriend who is fiddling with my fingers that were locked into his, while his eyes scanned over a menu.
"Mmm. I think I want the.. pasta stuff." He says.
"Harry. Did you hear me?" I laugh. His stomach growls which makes me laugh harder.
"Sorry love, I'm just hungry." He smiles.
"It's okay I want a burger." I tell him.
"Thank God. All Cara ever did was eat salad. It was annoying I mean every time we went ou..." he pauses then he notices me staring out the window. I untangle my fingers from his.
"Hey. I'm sorry. It just kind of slipped out." He apologizes, drawing my attention back to him.
"Oh no it's fine Mason always..." Harry placed his hand over my lips to get me to hush.
"Okay. Okay. I understand." He laughs.
The waiter with a bad mustache takes our order and we talk about Mac's party again. I also start talking to Harry about a girl I met today named Lexie.
"She's so pretty and really cool." I explain.
"I bet she's no prettier than you." He winks at me.
"Whatever. I was thinking about bringing her to the party tonight. I don't know she's new and I heard Niall talking about her sooo.." I trail off.
"I think that would be a great idea." Harry says his eyes on the food that just arrived, not paying attention to our conversation again.
"Okay after we get done here, I'll text her then go set up for Mac's party." I tell my curly haired boy with cute dimples and strikingly green shimmery eyes. Sometimes I just stare at him and wonder how much beautiful can be made into one man.
...
"Hey babe." Harry greets as he saunters in. He changed from his relaxed outfit to a white shirt and tight black pants. His hair, more tame than earlier as well. I changed into a yellow sundress and wedges.
"Hey Harry." I smile and he kisses me on the forehead, reminding me of my dad.
"How is everything going? Did that Alexia girl say she was coming because I went ahead and invited Niall if that's okay." He informs me.
"Yes, Lexie, said yes and thank you I probably would have forgot." I tell him while staring down at my clipboard checking over the party plans for the 45th time in the last hour. I put a pen cap between my teeth and begin to chew nervously.
"What if she is weird?" He asks and I chuckle, then lightly punch him in the shoulder.
"Harry! I talked to her a lot today. She's cool we have a lot in common."
"Yeah. Well you're kind of weird too." He smirks.
"Whatever, Harry. Now, I need help with balloons!" I smile and hand him a package of balloons to blow up. He smiles and shakes his head.
"You're something else, you know that?" He mutters under his breath. I nod, not knowing whether or not his comment was meant to be heard.
...
"Okay everyone. Duck down and when she comes in yell surprise. Not even you can mess this up Louis." I tell the crowd and they laugh.
"She's coming." Harry informs us.
