"Last night when you said that someone was going to come after me...what did you mean by that?" I asked holding a cup of coffee.

Stevie sighs "I meant that if I don't hide you now then you'll either get killed or locked up for the rest of your life."

"What the hell?" Now I'm a bit freaked out

"The authority that I told you about. If they find out that you're here. It's over." He says concern for my safety

"What's in it for you? Huh?" Taking a sip from my mug and placing it on the counter lightly.

"I'm not like the rest of my people. I look at you and I see something special. Magnificent to be exact." He glares at me

Is he flirting with me?

"Oh...uh so when am I able to go back home?...you know earth."

I told Stevie about the transporter and Ely and how much I'm going to punch Ely in the face.

"Honestly? I don't know when. I mean the transporter you say isn't something that I could build in a few hours. I need a couple of days of course and specific tools." He stares at my hands

"Well I'm not rushing you. Ely took months in order to finish that transporter. And it still didn't work very well in his favor."

"In months I could build you a dozen of transporters." Stevie says while hiding his amused expression

I smile and walk to the couch. If only I knew a couple of days ago I would be here in Mars. I would've at least showed some attention to my parents. I can't stop thinking about them. I miss them. They probably freaking out that they haven't heard from me in a while. I know they won't call the cops or anything. I mean I'm 18 years old and the cops would most likely think I left on purpose. Which in my defense didn't expect myself to end up in Mars. I wonder what Ely is doing. Probably freaking out more than my parents. Yup definitely more.

"I have to go back to the unit. Stay here." Stevie tells me before walking out.

Great. Now I'm all alone.

*********couple of hours later********
I can't just stay here all day and not do anything. I'll die of boredom. I grab the spare keys that Stevie gave me last night. Again there's sand everywhere! For being aliens they're kinda like humans. I see parked and driving cars as I walk down the street. After at least an hour or two. I stop by a bar name 'Mystique Poison'. I honestly need a little bit of poison myself.

It's almost like a ordinary bar. I'm surprise no one noticed I'm a human then again they look human themselves I wonder what exactly make them 'aliens'.

"Hello, dear what can I get you?" A tall husky woman ask me as she places a shot in front of me

"Um...Vodka." I sit on a stool as she tried to comprehend what I just said

"I've never heard of Vodka." She smile then says "how about our new edition 'Lameer'." She pours it inside the shot glass

What the hell is a 'Lameer'. Now I know a one thing that makes them different than us humans. Their lack of distasteful names for liquor brands. I smell the liquor before swallowing it all in one gulp. I bang the shot on to the counter as I feel the Lameer burning my insides.

"Shit! That's strong." I can't barely breathe

"The best of the best we have here." She winks at me and pour me some more.

"So tell me...how's the king like?" I asked while questioning myself if I should take another shot or not.

"The King is old." She laughs

"Old? Well then who's the Prince Charming?" I say trying to be funny

"Charming? No. Sexy? Hell yeah. He's what every girl dream of marrying one day. But his attitude sucks ass."

"Hmmm." I take another shot. Fuck! That shit definitely taste like poison.

"Let me guess? You want me to help you get in the party this evening to see 'Prince Charming'." She raises her eyebrows and smirks at me

"Party?"

"This evening. Prince Charming is hosting the party. He's honoring the scientists over there in the unit." She cleans the counter with a white cloth.

"Scientist? Aren't they doctors?"

"No dear. Scientists. They are the ones who tell us all we have to know about our enemies and foes but more on our enemies."

I swallow hard knowing exactly who she is referring to. "Humans?" I ask her shaking now

"You okay dear? Liquor got to you already?" She laughs then pours another shot. "But yes the humans. Our biggest enemies."

If I drink another shot I might puke everywhere. I never got drunk so quickly in my life before. Hell, I have a high tolerance when it comes to liquor but this shit ain't no ordinary liquor. Lameer is no joke.

Feeling dizzy now I ask her to show me to the bathroom. I hold myself on to the sink. I think I'm seeing stuff. Oh God I'm going insane. Fucking Lameer. I splash some cold water onto my face hoping it'll magically wash away my drunken state.

As I headed out the bathroom I noticed the bartender speaking to someone. I lean in trying to hear the conversation.

"You are officially invited to the party this evening. See you later Sonja." The tall guy with a black vest on said before walking out the bar.

Hmm so her name is Sonja.

"Look what I have!" Sonja waves the invitation up in the air

"Hmm lucky you." I look inside my shot that is filled with more Lameer. Ugh fucking Lameer.

"So I have a plus 1. Wanna come?"

I look up at her. "Ugh...party's aren't my thing." I smiled and stared at my shot.

"Oh c'mon, it'll be fun!" Sonja ain't really good at convincing.

"My body is on fire. Is that normal?" I asked clearly focusing on my drunken state

Sonja frowns and places her hand on my forehead. "Oh wow you're burning up." She throws away the shot and pours me some water.

I take a sip and place it down on the counter. Fuck my life. I need to go back to Stevie's. And sleep this off.

"If you come with me to the party I'll grant you a whole year of unlimited free liquor for you and whoever you come with." She smiles at me

"You really think that's going to make me change my mind." I start laughing and grab my head with both my hands
