"I've been watching you since the moment you got here." His words plays over and over again in my head. He's been "watching" me. Sounds like a stalker.

I put my head down trying to figure out what I should say next. I think my silence made him uncomfortable.

"I don't mean to-"

I cut him off "Why? I mean why did you act like you had no idea who I am or more like what I am?"

He stares at me with his soft brown eyes. I feel like he's holding back so much. "You intrigued me...you still do."

"What exactly makes me so intriguing?" I asked him

"Your innocence." He put his down before concentrating back on the screen.

I cross my arms "Innocence intrigues you? Is that why you want to take over earth?"

He's upset now. "Earth innocent? Please." Sarcasm fits him well.

"You're planning on taking millions of innocent people home for your own benefit? Which is what exactly?" We're both upset.

He stares at me like he no longer understand English.

I let out a sigh. "Since the moment you've been watching me. You even noticed how harmless I am to your kind. How I'm just trying to survive the best way that I can. What makes you think people on earth isn't the same way?"

"Not everyone is harmless as you think." Alex response quick.

"You're absolutely right! In fact there are millions of dangerous and violent people on earth. But there's also millions of people who done nothing wrong."

I continued speaking after I realized he just wants to listen.

"I'm human. And I don't say that because it's the so called name of my kind. I say that because on earth we mean that as we have feelings and emotions. We cry, we get hurt, we get angry, we get happy. That's us. We know how it feels. The point I'm trying to make is although you're clearly not human doesn't make you less of us. You cry, you get hurt, and you get happy. So think about that before planning your whole 'take over the world' thing." I leave it as that.

The following day
I make my bed before heading to the kitchen. I grab a bowl of cereal and sit quietly in the kitchen table to eat.
Stevie stares at me with concern and lost in his face expression.

"What did you do?" He moves closer to sit in front of me.

"Hmm?" I stare him as I take another spoonful of fruity pebbles.

"Alex. He has no intentions of locking you away anymore."

"Oh" I simply say remembering Alex and I conversation last night.

I looked around for the spare keys Stevie gave me.

"Where you going?" Stevie ask

"Heading out to the bar." I said while tying my shoelaces.

"Please tell me it isn't to drink?" He's worry. I don't need him to act like my father.

I rolled my eyes. "I am stuck on Mars for as long as I don't know. I'm pretty sure I should be drinking myself to death."

"You're damn right to death! The liquor here is 10x times worse than the liquor earth has. It'll kill you quicker."

"How do you know so much on how it could effect me?"

"I did a few observations using your blood results and stuff." He tried to walk fast towards his room.

"Stuff? What other stuff?"
