Though things change, they never leave forever.

Sitting there in the tall grass with the warm sun beating down on my face, her arms around me and my head on her shoulder. Everything felt so perfect; so right, as if we were both meant to share these few moments together since the beginning of time. As if it was our destiny to create our lives together.

She broke the silence before I could spill my overflowing thoughts, " Do you remember when you would pick dandelions as a kid? To lay down in the fields and let the wind carry your wishes away; My favourite childhood memories, all flooding back while being here with you."

The widest grin crept across my face as I leaned in to share a kiss. With each breath and press to her lips, she felt closer to me. My beautiful girlfriend being so careless as she always was, still making sure she was so graceful and perfect in every single way.

I loved her; she was my person.

More than my person she was the love of my life and I couldn't even bother arguing with the matter. Of course I'd continue to love her until the end of time. No matter what, you never stop loving your person.
