you kissed me.
you kissed me and you left me breathless as your hands pulled away from mine. you left me with a smile of pure happiness on my lips.
but now, you've left me on the ground crying into my palms, questioning why i ever let you borrow the heart my mother told me to keep in a locked safe.
you once left me with nothing but pink cheeks, but now i'm left with nothing more than a dark hollowness in my chest and tears flooding my eyes.
