I took a deep breath and walked away from Tara; who was still on the floor, gasping for breath and coughing violently, she looked up at me and I sighed. I walked into the living room and closed the door behind me; I leant on the door and slid my body down until my bottom hit the floor. I put my hands on my face and rested on my knees. What had I done? I had made a BIG mistake, what if Rhys left me because of this stupid outburst? I'll be alone, I'll be homeless, Jake wouldn’t want me in his house either, I'll have nothing but myself and my unborn child, who I won't be able to provide for. I am a terrible person.

There was a knock on the living room door, I gulped.

"Who is it?" I answered.

"Saph it's me," Rhys whispered. "Let me in,"

I shuffled along the floor enough so he could open the door.

"Come in," I sighed. Rhys turned the door handle and pushed the door open to see me sat by the door, I looked at him with an expression of shame plastered over my face, and he walked in and closed the door behind him. I sighed.

"You're disappointed with me, aren't you?" I asked. Rhys shook his head.

"Not disappointed, just shocked," he replied sternly. I hung my head in shame and gulped.

"Look, it was just spur of the moment, pregnancy hormones. I didn't mean it," I answered.

Rhys sighed and remained silent, I looked at him.

"You believe me, right?" I asked a look of desperation and worry was all over my face, Rhys was one of the only people that I had left, I couldn't lose him. I sighed, realising I had made the biggest mistake of my life; Rhys was going to leave me, he was going to kick me out and I'd have nothing, no one, all because I couldn't control myself.

"Please Rhys!" I begged.

Rhys sighed once again and looked out of the window, the cheesy grin that was usually on his face had been wiped off and seemed as though it wasn't going to come back.

"Please," I cried, I stood up and walked over to Rhys; his arms were crossed and his muscles were tensed up, I walked to him and looked him in the eyes, but he turned his head away from me to avoid my gaze.  I sighed. "You're all I have left Rhys,"

"Humph," he mumbled.

"What?" I asked.

"Nothing," he replied quietly.

"You're mad," I sighed.

"Yes, I guess I am disappointed in you, you could have killed her!" Rhys snapped.

"Well I didn't kill her, did I?" I replied.

"No," he mumbled.

"Exactly, so why are you so mad? It's not like I actually killed her," I rolled my eyes.

Rhys shook his head.

"That's not the point," he replied.

"So what is the point then?" I asked.

"You just don't get it do you?" he exclaimed.

"No, explain?" I asked.Rhys sarcastically laughed. "What?"

"I thought I knew you," he sighed.

"You do know me!" I protested. "I'm still the same Sapphire that I've always been! I've just got a baby growing inside of me! YOUR baby! That's all!"

"No, Saph. Rhys is right, you've changed," Jake interrupted.

"How have I?" I asked.

"The old Sapphire would have never done that," Jake answered.
