Dedicated this chapter to Nathan because without him I wouldn't even be writing anymore. I gave up with the whole thing, but he didn't give up on me, he told me to keep up at it... he told me I had a talent and told me not to give up, so after months and months of not writing anything... I'm writing again! :) Enjoy :)

It felt like forever whilst we were waiting for the nurse to return, the clock on the wall tick tocked on and on behind the desk. We remained stood there impatiently.

"Hurry up. How long does it take to find someone?" I thought to myself whilst tapping my foot on the floor. I rested my arms on the desk and then placed my head on top of them and sighed.

“Smile princess,” Rhys whispered I gave him a brief grin. This is all I could give him for now, all of the events from the past few days had got on top of me and drained me. I just wanted everything back to normal.

"Sorry I took so long, love. I bumped into an old friend; you know what that's like? Bumping into old friends, asking how they are and then you're stuck talking for so long you lose track of time. Yeah, well that's what happened to me! Who knew Maggie would be here, eh?" the lady chuckled to herself, I smiled politely.

"Who knew, eh?" I replied. The lady stopped chuckling and her face became blank again, sensing that I had become impatient; she coughed to clear her throat.

"But yeah, sorry I took so long, I bet you've been really bored just standing here!" she exclaimed.  I shrugged.

"Did you find Leanne?" I asked.

"Who’s Leanne? Oh, your friend? Yes, yes I found her!" she replied. I perked up slightly. I smiled and sighed in relief.

"Where is she? Is she okay?" I asked.

"I think its best you found out for yourself, love," the lady replied gravely. "Follow me,"

I nodded and the lady walked in front of me, I tailed behind her making sure I didn't lose sight of her in the busy ward, we walked to far end of the ward and that was when I saw her body lay still in a bed. I turned to Rhys in shock, tears started welling up in my eyes, and Rhys cuddled up to me and nuzzled into the back of my neck and rubbed my back.

"Is this Leanne?" the lady asked. I walked closer to the bed and instantly recognized her face, I gasped and swallowed hard.

"Yes, yes it is," I croaked, my throat had gone dry all of a sudden.

"I'll leave you guys alone then, she can hear every word you say," the lady replied. I nodded and swallowed again as the lady started to walk away.

"T-thank you," I stuttered, the lady smiled and nodded.

"My pleasure," she replied.

Rhys found a chair and pulled it out from another patient’s bed side and let me sit next to Leanne’s lifeless body, there were machines and wires surrounding us. Rhys stood next to me and stroked my hair, Leanne was still unconscious her head was neatly bandaged up and tubes were coming out of her body left, right and centre. The most important thing was that she was still alive after this whole ordeal, which was the main thing.

"Hello Leanne," I said softly; I wasn't expecting a response, I just merely wanted her to know that I was there, make her aware that she wasn't alone in this world and that I still cared for her, even through her darkest hours. I cleared my throat. "It's Saph, just in case you can hear my voice... but you're unsure as to whom I am. You're going to be alright, I promise. You'll recover, Jake will be sorted out, you'll go back to your home and things will be virtually back to normal,"
