There was a knock on the kitchen door, I jumped and looked up; startled at the sudden noise, I cleared my throat and tried to breathe normally.

"Who is it?" I stuttered.

"Leanne," the voice replied, I clicked on and recognized the voice. It was Jake's mother's voice, I gulped. "This is it Sapphire. You're gonna get bollocked now. Leanne's gonna kick you out, Rhys is going to leave you, you'll have no where to go. No friends, no family, not even a bed. Well done," I thought to myself.

Leanne walked in and pulled out a chair from the kitchen table, she sat down beside me and looked at me; she had a slight smile on her face.

"You alright?" she asked. I sighed and nodded. "Are you sure? You're separate from the group; it's not like you at all,"

I sighed.

"I just need some time to myself," I sighed and looked away; I felt my eyes becoming teary.

"Why's that?" she asked.

"I need to think things through," I sighed.

"Why? What's the matter?" she asked, I remained silent. "Well, Sapphire?"

I decided not to say anything, I didn't want to slant Leanne's thoughts about me also; it was bad enough knowing that my Mum and my close friends were sort of disappointed in me, I didn't want to change another person's opinion of me.

"Please Saph, you know you can tell me things," she begged.

I sighed and shook my head.

"What?" she asked.

"I know if you find out you'll be disappointed," I sighed.

"Why's that? What don't I know?" she asked.

"Everything, unless Jake has told you," I sighed. She shook her head.

"Jake hasn't told me a thing," she replied.

I sighed.

"Well, I don’t know what to tell you first," I sighed.

"Just start from the beginning," she replied. I took a deep breath and thought about how to start explaining.

"Well, I might have already told you because I’ve lost track of who I’ve told the news to and who I haven’t now. Sara, Amy, Cassie and I went out the other night... to the club. We got... a tiny bit drunk. Cassie and Amy went on the dance floor and left Sara and I, Sara then went home and left me at the bar. I didn't feel like dancing ya see?" I started. I then took another deep breath; Leanne nodded, following every word that I was saying. "Then I bumped into an old friend, Rhys, at the bar and we spoke and had a catch up. The drinks kept flowing and I got more and more drunk. I kissed Rhys; the rest was a big black blur,"

"Is that all? You kissed a lad?" she asked. I shook my head and looked down.

"No, there's much more than that," I sighed.

"Like what?" she asked. I sat there and thought about how to tell her.

"I woke up beside him," I gulped.

"Right..." she said, understanding me.

"He said we had sex, unprotected. I was so drunk and out of it that I don't remember it. Sara took me to have a pregnancy test at the doctors and it came out positive," I sighed. "I told my Mum and she kicked me out,"

Leanne sighed and shook her head.

"And Jake invited Rhys and I to his party so that he could get to know Rhys a bit better, obviously because he’s going to be the father of my baby and I got aggressive towards Tara cos' of the pregnancy hormones. It was completely out of character but Jake and Rhys don’t believe me. I'm going to be homeless, Rhys has already said he’s thinking whether he can stay with me or not and I’m currently living at his, if he leaves me I don't know what to do or where to go," I cried, a tear trickled down my cheek and Leanne brushed it away with the back of her hand.
