Elsa's POV

"Hey guys, you're up rather early." I enthusiastically say as I take a seat at the dining table eyeing Lou who had a smile plastered on his face as he scrolled through his smartphone whilst Jack hummed the tune of the kid's show of the famous mouse's house.

"Don't you think it's a nice change Elsa?" Jack smiles, "Now we got less mouths to feed."

"What do you-"

Ding dong

"Hold that thought Elsie " Jack cuts in, "Open the door first."

"Ugh, let me guess. Though you two blokes are in a good mood, you both are still lazy to get the door." I say with an unamused tone and face.

"Mhm."

"Pretty much."

"Ugh, I'm gonna murder you two and David someday." I mumble loud enough for the two of them to hear. Which in return, just made them grin.

I give them one last suspicious and curious looks before leaving to open the door.

Ding dong

"Wait a second!" I exclaim as I unlock the door and open it wide enough for my whole body to be in full view.

"Oh just great. Thank you mother fucking nature. Just what I wanted to see." David glared at me as he shoved himself inside the threshold whilst throwing the duffle bag and suitcase next to coffee table as he fell face first onto the couch.

"Elsie! Who is it?" I hear Lou ask from the dining room.

I didn't mind answering back as I just questioned the yellow-white-ish haired boy that laid in front of me.

"What's up with you?" In an irritated matter I asked.

"You're still here? God, just mind your own damn business." He mumbled after he glanced at me from the pillow that covered his entire face.

"Whatever," I grumbled with a frown at his raw attitude which is the total opposite of his usual happy-go-lucky self, "Did you go somewhere?"

"Figure it out yourself Sherlock." He snapped.

"You know what, I've had it. I don't know if you're like this because of your man period or because I did something wrong, but can you just fucking chill? And if I did do something wrong, which I'm totally clueless of, I'm sorry." I say.

"Whatever." Was his bored reply.

"Oh my-"

"Elsa, who- oh, why are you here?" Jack cuts in with a frown as he stares at David who in return gave both him and Lou a glare.

"Is this some family reunion or something? Or do you three just don't have a life and that's why you're butting into mine?" David grumbles.

"Awh, someone's angwy." Lou coos in a baby voice making David even more irritated.

"I don't need a lecture nor an interrogation right now you three. Just leave me alone." David breathes out after trying his best not to snap a reply at Lou's teasing.

"Well you better expect one later. I'm not going to sit here and watch you insult us like there's no tomorrow." I grumble and stomp back to the dining table with a mood that could flip a whole truck.

"So the square root-" my teacher's voice fades away as my thoughts swarm my mind with sounds like a whole bee hive being active.

What's up with David, I wonder.

Out of all the thoughts that I could've answered perfectly right, I chose the one in a million that's harder than the square root problem we're discussing today.
