I looked in the mirror as I got ready for mine and Audrey's date. We were going for dinner and I had decided on a loose fitting black dress. It made me look taller and I felt great in it, which was a plus for any given date.
"You look lovely" Brooke said, walking in.
"Thank you, I'm really nervous though." I said, sitting down.
"How come?" Brooke questioned
"It's our first date. I don't want it to be awkward"
"Listen, you and Audrey couldn't be awkward even if you tried" Brooke said, rubbing my back.
"I guess, it's just strange. I've never been on a date and I like her so so much."
"That much is evident on your face".
I laughed and hugged Brooke, whispering a thank you in her ear.
"Now go meet the woman of your dreams and have fun!"

Audrey and I came out of the restaurant laughing.
"Honestly I had never seen someone's face so awestruck." Audrey laughed.
We'd bumped into a fan of mine on our way out and they had looked like they'd seen somebody like Beyoncé, not me.
"It's so weird having fans. Like I'm probably going to go back to England and like no one will recognise me." I laughed
"That's not true - I'm sure you'll have some fans over there!"
"It's also weird to think I'm gonna go back to my best friend being on what seems will be a hit TV show...." I smiled.
"I don't want you to leave." Audrey mumbled, taking a hold of my hand.
"I don't want to leave you. But we'll make the most of our last days." I said, hugging her.
We walked around, talking about everything we could and found ourselves on a wall by the lake. A perfect view of the sunset. And as we watched it go down, I watched Audrey and realised that I didn't just like her, but that I was beginning to fall for her.
