I put down my phone and took my make up off, I was going to take a shower and then get ready for tonight's event. Tonight was another charity gala, and apparently it had a lot of famous people going. It made me nervous really because I was still just a regular girl. These celebrities were well known by everyone including me!

The gala eventually rolled around and I had never been so nervous in my entire life. I knew a couple of names that were going such as Alycia Debnam-Carey and Jamie Chung, both who played roles on shows I loved.
"You ready Aure?" Matt asked me as we pulled up
"Define ready, because probably not"
Matt chuckled and walked around to let me out. I was wearing my cute Aztec print skirt along with a white top - which was a perfect outfit for tonight's gala. We had our photos taken and then guided to where auctions would be taking place. First of all, we had to get through a buffet and speeches.
"Look over there Aurelia," Matt said and pointed in a direction. I saw Alycia Debnam-Carey and almost spat on my (non alcoholic) drink. Matt waved her over as I tried to downplay my nerves.
"Hi!! Matthew I haven't had chance to speak with you at all recently, how's life?" Alycia said with her cute accent, honestly I was about ready to melt into a puddle on the floor.
"Life is good right now, currently working with Aurelia for her days in America project, she's new to the scene" Matt explained.
"Aurelia is it? Oh you're so cute! I must introduce you to Maia at some point!! Ah honestly if you ever need tips for the industry please don't hesitate to call me, oh here's my number"
"Wow hi, I hope you don't mind me mentioning that I'm such a big fan of your work! I loved your portrayal of Lexa in the 100 and I love how you play Alicia Clark in Fear the walking dead too! I'm feeling a little overwhelmed to be honest"
"Oh thank you loads! I'm sorry, I do realise how overwhelming this must be, I remember when I first started, nerves were everywhere! Oh look a photographer!" Alycia said and guided me to him, she asked him to take a couple of pictures of us and then Jamie Chung came over to say hi to Alycia as they had gone to a convention together before. The photographer took photos of us and Jamie turned to me.
"I'm Jamie Chung but you probably already knew that!"
"I'm Aurelia King, filming the days in-" I started
"Days in America? Yes! I knew I recognised you! I absolutely adore your vlogs!"
"Do you know what? I think the three of us should hang out at some point whilst you're still here Aurelia!" Alycia said
"That would be nice, yes"
We finished up talking, swapping numbers and promising to hang out, and then we went to the auction room.
The gala finished pretty soon, and time had flown by. As we were getting in the limo back, I opened my contact list and started typing out a message.

From: Lia👑
Hey Audrey. I had a crazy night, and I want to phone you tomorrow, let me know what time is best xo

I put my phone away and once we got back to the hotel, I quickly got ready for bed. I went to Matt's room and bid him goodnight before getting into my own bed and falling asleep with a smile on my face.
