Your Idea

First off, you need to come up with an idea for your roleplay. Some people like the regular Clans, but more lean towards non-canon Clans.

People always create Clans, you know. Ever heard of a "StormClan" or a "LeafClan" or maybe a "SunClan" or "NightClan"? I've seen a whole lot of those, and to be honest, they aren't very active.

Tagging people... well, that's basically the same as following for follows. People may just sign up because you tag them, but they aren't really going to roleplay. Same with follows for follows. Out of the 364 people you follow, only some of them may follow back, and most of those people will forget your account and not even check out your books. You get me?

So, what's your idea? Want a regular roleplay with four Clans and a Gathering each week? That's great, but now, we need to brainstorm on how to get people active and to discover your roleplay.

First off, we always take roleplay advertising requests in general, haha. But in all seriousness, you need an introduction. Just as if you were writing a book, you should introduce your Clans.

Let's use EmpireClan, for example. First off, it sounds exciting. Right? It sounds original. Try and come up with an original name. Morning happens to be excellent with unique names for Clans.

That's not a good example, then. Let's try... FireClan. I'm always seeing a FireClan.

For the introduction, if there's not really a backstory, it can't be too interesting, right? FireClan--what's your backstory?

For instance, it could have been a dying ThunderClan, and there could have been a forest fire that the cats helped defeat.

It's not great but it's better than "These are the Clans: FireClan, etc..."

For the Clans, I suggest using words that describe the Clan. Sometimes people categorize their OCs, it could be useful.

Use your idea to start. Continue on to the next chapter.
