I've seen some AMAZING roleplayers out there. Honestly, they can act on screen. People can really evoke emotions, and therefore, I think it's pretty important to act out some important deputy traits.
One thing your character should have, good or evil, is ambition. To be ambitious means they want the best for their clan and glory for the clan. No Clan wants a deputy who doesn't have an itch of faith in them, right?
They also should have good patience. Deputies must have patience to organize patrols, listen to problems, report to the leader, ect. This is a go to trait!
The third trait they definitely need is good loyalty. The deputy should be loyal to their Clan, and be ready to fight beside them in battle. Then, your deputy will be ready to become the best he/she can be, and be prepared to be leader someday.
