Laura's P.O.V.

Ok, I am getting really worried now... It has been a week since Jason disappeared, and I am really starting to worry about him! Also, Piper sure as heck isn't helping... For the first two days, she sat in the Aphrodite cabin and sobbed... Then, she came out on the third day and ran around like a maniac screaming bloody murder for Jason to come back... After about two days of that, I had had enough. I grabbed Piper, and smacked her across the face (yeah yeah, I know, not very nice, but hey- She'd been screaming "JASON!!!! COME BACK TO ME!!! DON'T DIE!!! I'D LIVE MISERABLY FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE WITHOUT YOU!!!" for about two days...) and said "PIPER! SHUT. UP! JASON WILL BE FINE! HE'S TOUGH AND HE'S SMART!". She just gave me a weird look, then sat down on a rock and started sobbing... I felt bad so I apologized, but really panicking like she was wasn't going to help save Jason...

"Y-y-you're right..." Piper sighed. "Losing my head won't help Jason..."

"Thank you for finally coming to you're senses!" I exclaimed. "Now, you should go get cleaned up. After you do, we can start looking for Jason around camp- in an orderly fashion- if Chiron says it's ok."

"Alright..." Piper agreed. She then stood up, and we walked to the Aphrodite cabin. She started inside, but then turned around to look at me. "Thanks for helping me cool down... I shouldn't have panicked like I did..."

"It's fine. I'm worried too, but we just need to keep calm." I said, smiling at her. She smiled back, then went to make herself presentable.

I waited for her, and 15 minutes later she came out, dressed in her Camp Half-Blood t-shirt, jean khapris, white sandals, silver bangles, and a simple, silver chain around her neck. Her hair was just how it normally was.

"You ready to go talk to Chiron now?" I asked her.

"Yup. I'm ready. Let's go." She said, heading towards the Big House, and I jogged after her.

When we got there, Chiron was sitting at a table with Mr. D. outside playing some sort of card game. Mr. D. was wearing his usual (and awfully horrid) clothes and was drinking Diet Coke while also snacking on some cookies. Ya know, the guy needs to do one of these two things- get a healthier diet, or give me those cookies to confiscate... I'm getting lost here, sorry. Any who, we walked up to the table, and I said "Hey Mr. D, Chiron. Piper and I would like your permission to just look around the outskirts of camp for Jason."

Chiron got a thoughtful look on his face, and was about to reply after a minute, but Mr. D. beat him to it.

"Absolutely not! There is no way I am letting you out of camp! You're some of our best fighters, and I need you to protect me 'cause I'm too lazy! Erm, I mean, you're some of our most... Uh... Valuable campers! Yeah, that's it."

I gave Dionysus a disgusted look, then turned to Chiron. "What do you say?"

"Well, I think that would be fine as long as you are careful and have another experienced camper come with you."

"Alright, thanks Chiron." I said (refraining from saying "Alright, thanks Chiron, thanks for nothing Mr. D."...). I turned around and walked to the lake with Piper to talk over who we were gonna bring with us. We decided we'd take Leo, because he seemed pretty bored lately, plus he was worried about Jason too. We then walked to the Hephaestus cabin to grab him. I stepped up and knocked on the door, and Leo's sister, Nyssa, answered.

"Hey, is Leo here?" I asked.

"Hi. No, he's at Bunker 9, sorry." She replied.

"Oh, alright. Thanks!" I said waving to her and heading off towards the woods.
