*Mason POV*
My father finally let me join Jacobs pack, I was sick and tired of baking the baby of the pack, well mostly Paul. I'll still go to the pack house like the others, but more often to see my mom. I really needed to talk to Maddeline. Bella and Edward rushed in with worried looks on their faces. "Have you seen Maddeline." Bella asked frantically looking around. "She wasn't at home with Charlie." She continued. "Maybe— AH!" I yelled in pain,it felt like my hair was being pulled off. Suddenly I felt my ribs cracking while my ankle felt like it was popping out. It wasn't happening on my body or at least I thought it was. "What's wrong!" Carlisle asked. Alice's face went blank as she gasped, she was having a vision. "It's the imprint bond, somethings happening." Jacob answered. Alice said she's in the school, the pack and I ran, while the Cullens followed in suit. I ran the fastest to get to my precious imprint.
What I saw made me want to crawl in a hole and die. There was Maddeline, at the bottom of the stairs, looking pale and lifeless. She was unconscious, the way it looked, it seemed like she was pushed. I ran toward her, "Maddeline, Maddeline, no!" I said, tears begging to spill out. Bella, on the other hand was bawling her eyes out. I picked her up very gently, "M-Mason" she whispered softly, "you came" she said as she faintly smiled. I smiled back, "of course I came for you." I answered softly. I handed her to Carlisle, since he would be the one to help her. I ran back with them. As soon as we got to the house, Carlisle set her down in his office while we had to wait in the living room. I was extremely nervous, I think I loved her, and having the ones you love get hurt is like stabbing yourself in the chest 50 times.
Carlisle came in and we stood up, "she has a minor concussion, with 2 fractured ribs, her right ankle is definitely broken, she has a bruising in her back and she managed to break her left arm. I managed to stabalize her by stopping the internal bleeding." He said. "When will she be able to leave?" Rosalie asked. " by most, a week, before she can leave.. He answered. He turned to Alice. "Alice did you get a good look of what happened?" He asked calmly. "She was pushed by three girls" she stated sorrily. "What did they look like?" Emmet asked. "the only one I got was a girl about her age, brown hair and brown eyes. She looked like the leader of the group, since she was the one calling the shots." She answered.
I contemplated on why that sounds familiar, until it snapped. Edward turned to me, "you know who her attacker was?" He asked. I nodded. Then my face turned dark in anger, "it couldn't be her, I'm mean she's Brittany Blackwell. The nicest at our school" I said. "You mean Octavia and Richards daughter?" Carlisle asked I nodded. Suddenly we smelled a new scent, I turned to it. "You were talking about, Brittany Blackwell" he said. "Who are you?" Edward asked. "A friend of hers, and yes I know what you are," he answered. "How?" Rosalie. "Because I'm half of what the Cullens are." He answered. "Anyway as I was saying, I know for a fact that she was the one who pushed Maddie down!" He answered. " and why is that," I asked. "Because of this" he handed me the notes. "So you were just being nosy" Rosalie snarled. "It was my business not only does it include my best friend,but it includes both of us." He said back. I looked through them, "that doesn't explain why your here" I snarled. "Let's go outside for a sec" he said as he grabbed my arm and dragged me. "I'm here because I was the one who was there for her." He said. I filled up with anger, " what do you mean!" I yelled. "I mean that your the one who's causing her pain, cause new flash, your girlfriend isn't as innocent as you think!" He yelled back. I grabbed his collar and pushed him into a tree. "You have no right to say that!" I growled. "Your girlfriend isn't as innocent as you think, mutt! And you have no right to even be called her friend after you don't know what your girlfriend's been doing to her for the past two weeks!" He yelled back. I was shaking in anger about to phase. "ENOUGH!" My dad yelled "YOU BOTH GET YOUR ASSES IN HERE!" He yelled again. We both walked towards the ends of the room, both glaring daggers at each other. We were like this until we heard heavy breathing and then a small scream after movement.
*Maddeline POV*
"hi my little princess" he said I cooed. I looked around to see that we were in a castle. "I love you with all my heart" he said. He waved a necklace around my head, but made sure my eyes would follow. I followed it 'round and 'round, until I fell asleep.
Then I woke up......
I sat up straight as I woke up only to feel pain. I arched my back and let out a small scream and then everyone was in my room. I started to hyperventilate and tried taking the needles out. Carlisle came over with another needle and smiled sorrowfully. "You need to rest honey." He said and injected it into my arms. I slowly felt myself fall asleep, I fought against it, but lost.
Back to sleep I went.......
"Sweetie." Said that same strangely familiar face again, "soon you'll be back and will help us take over the seven kingdoms." He answered. "Heliet! Fetch me the necklace!" He said. A man wearing blackand white came by with the panther looking necklace. He waved it over my head over and over again until.... I shot up awake in a cold sweat
James seemed to rush in with Mason. "Are you all right?" They asked. I tried to speak but then I couldn't control myself, I got the sudden urge to attack. I then only saw black......
*Mason POV*
I watched as my imprints eyes went from chocolate brown to midnight black. "Dr.Carlisle!" James yelled. Suddenly Maddeline leaped onto James and tried to attack, but not before I dragged her off him. I didn't like the boy ,but I wouldn't let him get attacked.......unless it was by me. He rushed in here in time with everyone else just I time to see her grow fangs and hiss at us. Carlisle was trying to calm her down but then she went rigid and passed out. "are you kidding me! This is the fifth time!" James said. Everyone turned to him, "what do you mean fifth time?" I asked him. He arched his eyebrow and smirked, "you really haven't known? Well then, she's been having the same nightmare, and every time she woke up, her eyes would be black not brown." He answered. My fathers grip tightened on my shoulder telling me to calm down.
*cellphone ringing*
"yeah dad...... Oh you need me home........ What is it?...... Okay I'll be right there" Jacob said during the call.
"My dad got mailed a letter with something in it that's from the high werewolf council,(don't ask where I got that from it just came to me, if you have better ideas on what to call them then go ahead. I know, I can feel the cringe, too), he said he wants me there because it seems important. I'll be back tomorrow, see you later." He ran out the house while his pack members walked out to go to their homes. "C'mon Mason, your mother's probably waiting for us" dad said. "There is something not right about this......"
