In the beginni...
There I was, back in that stony brick castle. The same man that hovered over me was at his throne, sharpening a knife. "Heliet, fetch me my kill for the day." He ordered the man. Five minuets later a man was dragged in and placed on his knees. He stood there begging for mercy. "Please, my king! I will never trespass again!" He cried. I was never so scared in my life as I saw, the man on the throne, throw the knife and watched it plunge into this heart. He sat there smirking, and then looked around, "well don't just stand there clean it up!" He yelled to the servants.
Then it all faded black.....
I thought it was over but here I am again, in the same crib, same room. The man I saw previously was talking to another man his age. I knew they were talking but I could only take in a few words "Artemis, —— your daughter and my son —— only heirs —— Keys to the north and south." "Lucius, —— an alliance ——we could overtake the kingdoms, they could be mates after all—— marriage is the only way." I watched the men collaborate, on what ever they were talking about but then that feeling came again and I was whisked off.....
I felt like I was being carried, I saw my mother, Renee, she looked worried. I looked back to see guards chasing us, I began to cry. She looked down, "don't cry my baby, we'll be alright...... Once we get away from your father." "STOP!!!' I'll get her back Renee, she's my child too!" That man yelled. Then I woke up...
I shout up with so much force the bed rocked, I was breathing heavily in my own sweat. My eyes darted around the room, I looked to see if the room filled with the Cullens and some of what I'm guessing is Jacobs pack. Figured it out last week. No one was there, I guess they didn't hear me. Carlisle opened the door to his office/hospital room. "Finally woke up, Maddeline." He said. I nodded and tried to get up but he stopped me. "You mustn't walk, you have broken your right ankle." He explained, I looked down to my feet to see a cast from my knee to my toes, then I looked at my arms which had been feeling a little weighed down, there was a cast ,too. I looked to Dr.Carlisle, "you also have broken your left arm, and have a light bruising, it faded away, just like your ribs did." He said. "How long have I been asleep?" I questioned. "You've been asleep for 1 week, but don't worry school was just finishing its break, so you won't be missing anything." He explained. "Also, you'll need your crouches so you can get around, but not far away distances." He said as he handed me the crutches. After 20 minuets I slipped and Carlisle caught me. "Just like your sister," he chuckled. After another 20 minuets, I finally got the hang of it. I made my way to the living room to see dad Bella standing around while everyone else sat on the couch. They stopped and turned towards me, Charlie hugged me tight and said he'd never let me go, the Bella came and hugged me. Though it was ice cold, it still felt good. I was allowed to go home finally, I said my goodbyes to everyone, excluding Mason, I don't know if he'd believe me, and I don't want to get in between their budding romance. I hugged James goodbye and left. My room was the same, it still had the unfaltering surprise that it had when I came here. I went straight to bed..........
