Maddeline POV

I met up with Britney today, when I got to school. She's my only girl best friend, I'm ignoring Mason, it's hard to see the guy you like with your friend, and James is my guy best friend. "Hey Brittany," I greeted, she nodded, "hey Maddeline, guess what! Mason bought me this bracelet!" She squealed. All my happiness faded away, I made a fake smile. "Omg! That's so amazing, it beautiful!" I fake squealed. She didn't know that I like Mason and I didn't want her to know that. I'd feel unbearably guilty if I was the one who tore them apart. Maybe Mason just felt bad for me after all, I do feel like he has been. "Maddeline! You're doing it again, are you okay?" She questions. I nod, and walk toward the inside of the school. As I walk down the halls, I bump into a solid figure,but before I make contact with the ground, a set of hands pull me up by my waist. I look up to see James, "why is it that this always happens when we meet?" He asks, I look down and blush. Maybe I had feelings for him, too, I don't know, I'm still confused. "No need to hide that pretty face of yours," he smirked as I blushed a deeper shade of red. James had become the flirty type with me, I don't think he really means it though. Suddenly we heard someone clear their throat, it was Mason. "Hey mason," I greeted, he nodded and then had a stare off with James, then looked back to me. "When I was out with Britt, we saw this necklace and it made me think of you." He started. I stared at the necklace, I felt like I was drawn to it, it gave me animalistic urges, but I kept them down. "Wear it please, for me?" He pleaded with those chocolate brown eyes of his. I broke, "yeah of course I'll wear it!" I answered. He put it on for me and then hugged me. There was something about this necklace........

*end of school*

During the whole time I had this necklace on, I felt the urge to go to the forests. I wanted to go there right now as we speak, so I made the decision to go into the forest. I didn't want to risk someone seeing me so I went behind the school, towards the forest line. As I walked in I took note of everything, the smell of the greens, the moss growing on trees, nature was right there in front of me. Suddenly I felt a sharp pain, it started in my abdomen but went throughout my whole body. There were terrible gut-wrenching, snaps that were unbearably painful. My screams echoed through the forest as I payed in fetal position. Then I felt my body going through a new change. I felt like I was in...in..... a new form. I looked down and saw paws, I was on paws? I saw a lake ahead and walked forward, I finally saw what had happened......I was a tiger? I think, but bigger, way bigger. I had black and white stripes throughout my body and I had a tail. I backed away from the pond, I was a monster...... a freak........ no one would ever want me if they ever found out how demented I really am. There are vampires and werewolves, and out of them I just had to be this. I can turn into a freaking big cat. I was at least 5 feet tall, I'm pretty sure this is not normal. I need to change back to my human form, now!"
10 minuets later

I finally changed back after finding out that I need to think about how I look like as a human. I also have clothes too which surprised me a lot but I guess I'm okay. I get up and run towards Charlie's, I look around bella's— well my own room. I feel a discomfort towards it, I hear the doorbell ring and I go downstairs. I see a box on the floor, but no one there. I grabbed the box and went upstairs. I opened up the box to find a lot of pillows and blankets and more stuff galore, all in striped leather print. There was also a note inside.

well done my child, a beautiful main breed you are, just like your grandmother. I'm always watching.....

I was creeped out by the note. Had someone seen me in the forest, was it really my father? I unpacked the box and began decorating my room.

There came more boxes, one after another. My room felt complete, I went to take a shower. The warm water did its thang. I was so relaxed when I came out still warm with my clothes straight out of the dryer. As I walked toward my bed, I felt a loud squeaking coming from the floorboards. I knelt down and pressed on it again, I then prayed it open and noticed a book. The quileute legends. I looked through it and saw the chapters, vampires, werewolves,shape-shifters. This book is based on the legends, the legend that's true. Maybe by reading this it'll help me, with my problem. I curl up on bed and move around until I find the spot. I purr as I do, 'I don't think I'll get used to this.'
