Let's play a game
Of which involves drinking shots
Sing my favorite song
Be that cruel, have me unravelled
You were unaware of my appreciation
Of how you sang so true
So raw, and, surprisingly outstanding
I was a wreck the whole while
And you didn't even see me cry
I was lucky that time
I took a shot, I lost this round
But the truth is that I needed the buzz
In the hopes that I will momentarily get distracted
It was for a lost cause
You have such a pretty face
And as explicitly implicated, a pretty voice as well
Your fun soul is the cherry on top
In any case, you are the distraction
And ironically, a harsh reminder
For the second time I am falling in love
Surprise, surprise, silly me never learn
For you are undeniably and most regrettably so,
What else could you be?
Yet another, unattainable
