Lacey's POV

"I miss Luke so fucking muchhhhh..." Mack whined. It had been a week since our sleepover with the boys had happened. The four of us girls were in my room, having a pretty normal girl's night. My parents were out with some friends tonight, and my brother had left to go get himself something to eat.

The truth was I actually really missed Calum, and I missed being so close to him. He made me happy, and I had a strange longing for his presence this weekend.

And what I still was unhappy about was the fact that we had almost kissed, but Michael ruined the moment.

I would never let my friends know that I missed Calum, though.

You're stupid if you thought I would even think about that.

"I miss Ashton." Sophia sighed.

"Same for me with Michael." Alhona awed as she leaned back onto the floor.

I groaned and stood up.

"What?" Sophia asked as she tilted her head, signing that she was confused.

"You guys are so lovestruck. It's gross." I laughed.

"Oh, please. We all know you are the same with Calum." Mackenzie rolled her eyes.

Al nodded. "Yeah, you're just better at hiding it than we are. Plus you and Cal won't talk about your feelings for each other."

I looked down at my feet. Alhona was right, but like I said before, I wouldn't be quick to admit it.

"I-" I began to speak, but the doorbell interrupted me.

"It's 9:30. Who the hell could that be?" Mack questioned.

"I-I don't know." I said, confused. I made my way to the door in the living room. I looked through the peep hole and saw someone I did not want to see.

I began to shake with anger as I opened the door.

"Why the hell are you even here?! I told you not to talk to me!" I yelled at him, stepping out onto the porch. I heard my friends come up behind me.

"Lacey, please. I just want to talk about everything. Please just give me a chance to explain everything to you." Daniel looked at me with sad eyes.

"No way. I said I wanted you out of my life, and I've been doing just fine without you for the past week." I spat.

"Lacey, what the hell happened to you?" He spoke, softly.

Mack came out on the porch to stand with me, her eyes narrowed. I grabbed her arm to signal to her not to do anything to him.

"You happened to her, you little shit! She already told you that she didn't want you in her life. So could you fuck off already?!"

Daniel looked at her, and then back at me.

"You're gonna let this bitch talk to me like that?" He scoffed.

"Don't you dare call her a bitch! I'm the only one who can call her that. Just leave, Daniel. Leave here and leave my life. I don't need you anymore." I shook my head.

"You know what, Lacey? You're a bitch, too. I thought you were better than this, but you're just like every other girl in this town," He stepped closer to me, closer to my face, "Should've known you were a whore all along."

"Step away from her, or so help me God you will wish you never showed up here tonight, asshole. Also, don't call her a whore ever again." I heard a familiar voice say through gritted teeth.
