Narrator's POV
"Silver keep still."
"B-But I wanna cuddle..." There was a pout made.
"As soon as I finish, we can."
"Okay, just...please hurry."
"I'll try." Chuckled Shadow as he groom silver ears, he purred as he did so. He bathed the younger one with his soft tongue. "I gotta keep you clean..." Shadow purred.
Silver blushed and shut his eyes, making small fists with his hands and making a pouting lip. He blushed red. "Y-You know my ears are s-sensitive..."
"I'm almost finished, don't worry." Shadow said chuckling and nipping an ear with his lips, making the albino jump a little.
"Shadow!" He blushed brightly and turned to him. Shadow gave a soft laugh.
"What?" He said smiling.
"Stop it. You know that feels weird." Silver made an anger face.
"Awh, but you know I like it when you react like that." Shadow kissed Albino's nose.
"That isn't funny." He gave a small growl.
"I love it when you're mad." Ebony smiled and looked at his angry lover. Silver looked away. "Okay, okay... I'm sorry. Can you forgive me?" He apologized.
"Hm..." Silver still kept his looks away with his arms crossed.
"Pretty please with a cherry on top?" He kissed a blushing cheek.
"O-Okay, I forgive you. But only because you're dying to hold me again." Silver stated, still blushing.
"If you say so." Shadow chuckled.
The two soon cuddled, rubbing their noses together and purring. Silver gave a soft laugh, causing his lover to smile.
Shadow loved seeing Silver happy. He put his arms around Silver's waist, holding him securely.
Silver put his hands on each side of Shadow's face and smiled. "My Shadow..." He laughed.
"Yup, yours and only yours." Shadow gave him a small peck on the lips.
Later that day, the two were walking down the street. They were walking along a small group of children holding a red ribbon as they walked.
"Don't let go guys, this is a very busy street." The teacher accompanying them told them.
"Yes ma'am." They all smiled.
Silver's POV
I held Shadow's hand as we walked by the ribbon of small children. A little girl with pig tails smiled at me. I smiled back at her. When we were safe on the side walk, I began counting them. Shadow held my hand and looked at me curiously.
"One, two, three, four, five, six." I smiled as the little girl waved good bye to me. "I think three would be ideal." I smiled.
"Three? Three what?" He asked.
I laughed softly. "Come on, we're gonna be late for the concert!" I said running and pulling him with me.
"Wait, three what?" He asked still confused. I just laughed and kept pulling him along with me.
Yup, there was a concert in town today. We didn't know the band, but wanted to go just for fun. He had purchased our tickets online.
"Come on! We're gonna get bad seats!" I yelped running.
"Silver wait-oof! Sorry! Excuse me. I'm really sorry. I didn't mean
to-Ngh!" I felt his hand leave mine."Shadikku?" I asked, turning around. He was on the ground with his legs on each side of a light pole, rubbing his head.
"Ow..." He groaned.
I gave a soft laugh. "Sorry." I told him laughing, and held his hand again. We raced to the concert.
It turned out to be a Hippie Indie band. Shadow and I got okay seats, but it was fun. Very romantic as well. It was late when they brought out their love songs and the rainbow colors representing all kinds of love. They sprayed us with colorful chalk dust that stained our fur. The lead singer had a rainbow flag around his neck, like a cape.
Narrator's POV
"This goes out to all those who know a different type of love. You're special, it's okay to be different. I want you to hold them very close tonight and tell them how much you love them." Was said on the microphone and through the speakers.
Everyone held their loved one close. Shadow held Silver close and kissed his lips passionately.
Everything went mute as their kiss continued. They didn't care who was staring, they loved each other very much and no one could change that. He pulled away and looked into his white lover's eyes.
Silver gave a soft laugh and stared back at his lover, who had the rainbow flag painted across his face. They were covered in colorful chalk, as if they had been bathed in a rainbow.
Shadow took his lover's hand and ran away from the crowd, into the city. They stole away into the night.
Our two rainbow hedgeis ran happily in the lighten city. Glowing billboards, shiny signs, blinking lights, buildings so devine. They held hands, intertwining their fingers, still painted gay colors. They didn't care what other people said or if they stared. It had been a while since they'd been out and they loved it.
They were carefree and stress free. They went to the fair and enjoyed the rides.
Shadow even won Silver a large green bear. They went through the tunnel of love ride and loved it. They were being as gay as gay could get. They even met others from the concert there and talked. They had a nice talk.
"I..."
"Love..."
You."
"You see it changes every time. Last I said love." Shadow smiled at his lover who was as happy as ever.
"Yeah, you're right." Shadow told him and kissed his cheek. They were standing on a bridge at the park away from the fair and music. The music could still be heard and lights could be seen, but they weren't bothered.
They stared at the moon's reflection in the lake surrounded by trees and wild flowers.
"This is so...romantic." Silver looked at his lover.
Shadow smiled as he had his chest to his lover's back and his head on his shoulder. His arms were around Silver's hips. Silver had his hands on the vined railing of the bridge.
"I'm glad you like it, Love." Shadow smiled and kissed a cheek once again. A few bikers went by and Shadow leaned against the other railing to let them pass, but leaned too much and feel in the water.
"Shadow!" Silver went to that side and waited for Shadow to come up from the dark water.
"I'm okay." He said laughing as his head poked out of the water. Silver laughed too.
Shadow smiled.
