((By the way, I took the parts from Hold Me Close and made this book. And silver looks so cute in this picture. Earlier in the past he kissed Shadow in middle school, and a while back he had gotten hit by Vector, explains the blood. So Silver keeps having that dream when Shadow kisses him. Enjoy!))

"Shadow!" A white hedgehog cried as he tried to look through the thick snowy blizzard. His legs were weak and tired, the wind pushed him all directions.

"Silver!" Cried a frustrated and desperate black hedgehog. He was cold, but desperate to find him. He looked around all directions. Nothing but white for miles.

What the two didn't know was that they were in front of each other, but the battered white snowflakes didn't allow them to see.

"Shadow..." That whisper caught Shadow's ears as for the wind was blowing his way. The black hedgehog started walking from where the source of noise was coming.

"Silver?" Shadow as led as he saw a figure

"Sh-Shadow?" Silver shivered as he noticed a back figure in the snow. He had his hands up to his mouth, trying to keep them warm.

"Silver!"

Silver heard his voice. He smiled, but he was too weak to keep walking. He fell face first in the snow, his muzzle started turning blue. He shivered. The wind blew in his ears. Then everything was mute, he felt somebody lifting him up. His body stung when with every movement made by the other.

He felt soft fur on his cheek. He looked up to who was carrying, a bright light was preventing him from seeing the other's face.

"Ah!" The white hedgei sat up. He panted, looking around his room.

"Silver?" A black hedgehog said standing at the door way. "You alright?" He asked. Silver covered his mouth as the Tate of blood came into his mouth and nodded. Earlier he had gotten beaten up by Vector because he owed hums some money, but Shadow took care of it. "Okay, try and get some sleep." He said before walking away.

"Shadow wait!" Silver yelped. Shadow walked back to the doorway.

"Yes?" He asked leaning against the doorway.

"Um....never mind." Silver said looking away.

"Alright, good night." Shadow stated before walking away.

Silver laid back down sighing.

Silver's POV

"And that's how you do it." Shadow said as he had just hit a home run. He and I were at empty field playing some baseball. I stood behind the machine that threw the balls. "Now it's your turn." He said walking to me.

"No, I just think I'll just stay behind this. You can pitch." I told him.

"Come on." He handed me the bat and pushed me to the home base. I stood there awkwardly. "Ready?"

"Sure." I put the bat in its position.

"Here we go." The first ball flew out. I swung but missed. "No Silver you've gotta feel it."

"Oh, I get it. You're saying I should measure the momentum-"

"I'm saying to get out of your head and play." The second ball flew out. I swung but missed, again.

"Here let me-"

"Wait. One more. Just one more try." I think I had this. He smirked.

"Alright." The third ball made its way to me. I swung and hit it! It didn't go as far as Shadow's but at least managed to go a far distance. He clapped.

"And that's how you do it ladies and gentlemen." He teased. I smiled. "See? All you had to do was roll with it." He patted my back.
