Narrator's POV
It's had been a wild night, and our two hedgeis enjoyed every second of it.
Now, they were asleep in bed still bathed in rainbows. Silver was cuddled to his partner with his arms around Shadow and purred happily.
Shadow had just crashed on the bed and passed out. He was snoring as loud as thunder. Poor hedgei, he was so tired. He hasn't moved that much since the last time Sonic and he raced.
The small ivory awoke to the chilly breeze, blowing in through the opened window of their room. He was a little startled by the snoring, but then giggled.
"Shadikku." He shook Ebony a little. "Shadikku, wake up, wake up, wake up!" He jumped on the bed. The snoring stopped, and Shadow sat up receiving pain shoot from his forehead.
"Gah." He gave a slight groan.
"Owee..." There was another groan, from the ivory hedgehog on the sheets.
"Ah." Shadow's overprotective instincts kicked in. "I'm so sorry Silver." He didn't want to touch him or he might hurt him, again. "Are you okay? I don't mean to... I just-" He stopped when he heard his lover giggling in the sheets. "Hm?"
"We bumped heads!" Silver bursted out laughing. He fell backward on the bed, laughing like a crazy person.
Shadow honestly didn't find it that funny, but was laughing quietly at how Silver was laughing. Silver couldn't stop laughing.
"Baby, baby. You need to calm down." He said taking Silver by the shoulders and shaking him slightly.
Some of the chalk dust came off of Shadow's fur and invaded Silver's nose.
He gave the cutest kitten sneeze, that broke him from his laughter. Shivers ran down his body.
Shadow tilted his head and looked at his lover. "Hm?"
Silver blinked and looked into the eyes of the hedgehog who was pinning him on the bed. He looked at the sheets and saw they were stained with the colorful chalk from their bodies.
"We gotta take a shower." Silver stated and tried getting up.
"Yeah." Shadow got up and grabbed a towel. He felt someone jump on his back.
"Hey, wait for me!" Silver giggled and went into the shower with Shadow.
Water ran as the two hedgeis showered. The water would be constantly turning on and off.
"Silver stop. You're waisting water." You could hear Shadow lecturing Silver from outside the bathroom.
"Okay, I'm sorry." Silver would response, before turning the water back on.
"Fine, I guess we could keep it on." Shadow said. There were a few minutes of silence... "SILVER! That's HOT!" The water turned off.
There was a giggle. "Okay, okay... I'm sorry."
"Let's see how you like COLD water." The water was turned back on.
"No, no, no wait! Shadikku!" There was a yelp. "Turn if off! It's COLD!" You would hear Silver's jaw chatter. The water was turned off.
"Doesn't feel good does it?"
"Okay, I see your point. No more water wars." Silver stated.
