Axel POV
"The Kingdom is under attack!" "Damn it.." One of my soldier had warned me of this attack I should've taken better preparations....!!!! My eyes went wide as the multiple faceless had destroyed our defenses "AXEL RUN WE CAN HOLD THEM OFF!" Hinoka had yelled as she and her retainers along with everyone else I had came to lover were fighting the risen off, just to protect me... "ROBIN MAKE SURE HE DOESNT DO ANYTHING RISKY!" Ryoma had yelled as well. Robin took my hand then ran as we heard multiple explosions. "NO I CANT JUST LEAVE THEM HERE!!! I-I HAVE TO FIGHT!" "YOU CANT ITS DANGEROUS!!!" Robin had protected me from multiple Risen and it pained me to see all these people risking it all..
The castle began to collapse and huge pieces of debris were falling from everywhere. Cuts and scrapes were visible on my body... "Milord, are you hurt?!" Robin scanned my body covering and wrapping all visible wounds as he was doing so I seen a risen appear behind him with an axe, I couldn't let him kill my friend. I pushed Robin out of the way but I wasn't fast enough to draw my Yato...
"AXEL!!!!!!!!!! AXEL!!!!" Robin's voice sounded distant the more he yelled my name. I looked down to see that the sharp end of the axe pierced me through my gut. My breathing was shaky and my eyes filled with tears at the realization
This was what death felt like...
"I.......I'm sorry......" As the axe was ripped out of me I took one last look at my castle and my very true friend Robin. It was the last thing I seen in this life as the King Of Valla...I gave him my pendant for him to hold for a life time. Death shouldn't be the thing that separates people from others around...it should be the memories that end up lost...
