18. Bowling

Cody drove us to the bowling alley. When we got there, I got out of the car, and walked inside while holding Luke's hand. We got to the front desk.

"Hi, what size?" The lady asked me.

"6." I said.

She handed me a size 6 shoes.

I went over to a chair and put my shoes on and began to tie them.

"Okay Alexis, Luke, one lane. Tyler and Brandon, another lane. Dylan and I in another lane." Cody said.

We all agreed and I got into one lane. Luke followed.

"You want to go first?" I asked.

"Ladies first." he said.

I smiled and grabbed a bowling ball. I let go of it and I got 4 pins knocked down.

Dylan laughed. "You suck!"

"Shut up! You swallow!" I said smirking.

He stopped laughing when I said that.

"Ignore him, princess. You're just learning." Luke whispered in my ear.

I smiled.

"Hey Luke! Quit telling Alexis sex jokes and bowl!" Dylan said.

He rolled his eyes and got a ball. He got 7 pins knocked down. I crossed my arms over my chest and pouted like a little kid.

"No fair!"

He chuckled. "Don't worry, baby. I can help you."

I smiled.

I got a bowling ball, and I put my finger in the holes where you're supposed to put your fingers in. Luke put his hand over mine.

"So, what you have to do is try and aim for the middle." He said looking ahead of where the pins are.

I smiled and looked at him. "Then what?"

He looked at me. "Then you just swing and let go."

We both swung our arms and let go of the ball, not leaving our eyes from each other. We both heard pins fall and we both looked and saw we got a strike.

We both cheered. I jumped into Luke's arms and he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Thank you!" I said.

"Anything for you, princess." He said.

We both kissed each other.

"Guys! We're in public!" Dylan called.

We both let go and continued to bowl.

About an hour later, i ended up beating Luke. Brandon beat Ty. Cody beat Dylan. We all got in the car, and began to go home.

"So, what should we do when we get home? It's only 8." Cody said.

"We could play hide and seek in the dark!" I suggested.

"Really? Isn't that for babies?" Dylan said.

"Jeez Dylan, what's your problem tonight?" Luke asked with his arm around me.

"I think someone's on their period." I said.

"Wow, Lexy!" Dylan said.

I laughed.

"I guess we can." Dylan said.

"Yay!" I said.

When we got home, we got inside.

"First, I want to get into some pajamas." I said running upstairs.

I went into Carter's room and got some pajamas. I went back downstairs.

"Okay, so who's seeking?" I asked.

"Not it!" Luke yelled.

"Not it!" I said.

"Not it!" Tyler said.

"Not it!" Brandon said.

"Not it!" Cody said.
"Shit." Dylan said.

We all laughed.

"Whatever. I'll count to 100. Go hide." He said turning around and closing his eyes and beginning to count.

I turned off the lights. We all separated. I didn't know where to go. I ran upstairs and went into the bathroom. I got in the bathtub.

"100. Ready or not, here I come!" Dylan called.

It took him a while. He found Brandon first. Then Tyler. He's looking for Cody, me, and Luke. He came into the bathroom and I was as quiet as a mouse. He left. I sneakily walked downstairs and got into the living room. I stubbed my toe on the couch foot, though.

I was about to scream, but someone covered my mouth.

"Shh baby, it's me." Luke's voice came in my ear.

I relaxed.

"Shh let's hide." He said.

"Luke! Alexis! Where are you? I know you guys are making out!" Dylan called.

I laughed quietly.

We were still finding a place to hide. Luke tripped on something, and he fell making me fall on the ground as well. He was on top of me.

"Hey." He said.

"Hi." I said.

Just then the lights came on and Dylan was standing there.

"Oh my gosh! Ty! Brandon! Cody! Alexis and Luke are having you know what on the floor!" He called.

Cody, Brandon, and Ty came running in the room, and their eyes went wide when they saw us.

"Stop being childish." I said sitting up.

"Okay, whatever. Brandon, you're it." Dylan said.

The lights went off again and we all went and hide.

After everyone got a chance to seek, we decided to stop the game. It was about 11. We all said our goodnights, and I went into the bathroom in Luke's room to brush my teeth. Just then, I felt a pair of arms wrapped around my waist. It was Luke.

"Hey princess." he said.

I smiled considering I was brushing my teeth.

He kissed my cheek and left the bathroom.

I spit out the toothpaste and rinsed my mouth. I walked out of the bathroom shutting the light off. I crawled into bed. Luke took off his shirt and got some sweatpants on. He laid down next to me. We both looked into each other's eyes.

"You're so beautiful." He said.

I blushed. "Do you know when Carter gets home tomorrow?"

"About 8." He said.

My smile faded. "I'll have to wake up then and get into Carter's room."

His smile faded as well and he nodded his head.

I dug my face in his chest. "I don't want to leave you."

"Don't worry. I still love you." He said.

I looked at him and smiled. "I love you too."

We both kissed and he turned off the light.

I got under the covers and cuddled with him, slowly falling asleep.
