As we fly around I look at what people do. There are people making clothes, wooden carvings, painting, and planting gardens. Everything was interesting. One thing I was happy about was that everyone stopped staring. I'm also glad no one has mentioned that I'm the missing princess or whatever. I was able to fly around on Alistair in peace and quiet, except for the busy people below." I love flying around here with you. It's peaceful and I can just be with you," I say as we glide around. I've only been with him less than a week but I felt like I've known him all my life. He smiles at me and I smile back. We have a bond that would be hard to break. I sigh a happy sigh. Nothing could go wrong right here at this moment. As we glided I began to think of adventures that we could have. Maybe explore the rest of the forest or go back to the world I used to be in. The last one I suddenly knew couldn't happen. Terrible things could happen and people would take Alistair away from me. I frowned at the thought. We finally landed next to Arrow. He looked at me questionably." Perhaps you could show us to a sleeping area or something," as I yawn. I was tired after not getting a lot of sleep the past couple of days." Right this way your Highness," he says." Ok, first of all don't call me your Highness. Second call me Alicia because that's my name. Last do you have anything to eat?," I say as we walk. He chuckles and I glare at him as we walk to find my sleeping area.
We finally get to a room with enough space for three dragons and ten people." Why such a big space?," I ask." So you and your dragon have enough room and for the things your mother and father are getting made for you," Arrow responds. I nod. I look at Alistair and smile as he glares at Arrow. I roll my eyes." Oh and please make your dragon stop glaring at me. It's starting to creep me out," Arrow says looking at Alistair. I laugh," I let him do what he wants. He's just being protective of me. But I agree, Alistair, cool it ok I'll tell you if I need you to do anything." He snorts and stomps away, sits in a corner and continues to glare at Arrow. I laugh," I tried. He's really stubborn at times." "Alicia I'm just having a weird feeling about this guy ok. I'm gonna go for a walk to calm down though," he says as he gets up." Ok," I respond as he goes out the door," Be careful though who knows what could happen." " I will," he says in a promising tone. I look at Arrow who sighs with relief as Alistair goes away. I laugh," So when do I get my stuff?," I ask. He shrugs," Anytime when someone finishes something I guess. But they still have a carved wooden crown that they had for you when you were younger that was made for when you got older. I think they have some things to tell you about as well if you would like to come." " Ok. This better not be boring or I will call for Alistair," I say. His eyes widen and I laugh harder than I did before," You're funny you know that. But I wasn't kidding about calling for Alistair so this better not be boring." He nods hesitantly. We head through the halls to the throne room once again.
My parents are talking about something when we walk in. They didn't realize I was in there until they looked over and jumped in surprise." Oh, you're here. We didn't realize that. You're so quiet," they say. I looked them with surprise and anger," I've been standing her for 5 minutes! You can't even notice that I'm here!? Do you even care at all!," I yell at them. "Alistair I need a ride. I don't care if you roar or whatever, I'm angry," I call to him in my thoughts. I could here him angrily running to me. "I'll be there," he said, angry. He comes thundering through the entrance stares at my parents with an expression that says' I'm going to hurt you'. He glares at everyone with the scariest glare I've ever seen. I smile, I look back at my parents and glare as angrily as I could. I get on Alistair's back and we get out. I here a whimper. Probably my mother but I don't care. We leave the kingdom and out in the open world where I used to be. I remember Thomas and I miss him. Thomas always was there for me, even for my younger brother he was nice to have around. I wondered if he knew about the secret of me not being part of his family. I shake my head and keep my focus back on Alistair. We land far enough away from the hidden kingdom that I feel better. I get off of Alistair's back and lay in-between his front legs and we both relax. We were so relaxed that we fell asleep.
What seemed like a couple hours later, I wake up to Alistair laying his head and neck around me. I nudge him. His bright blue eyes open. He yawns and then stretches. He looks at me," You want to go back yet?" I shrug," I'm not to excited or even in a rush to get back so I don't really care right now." "It's to calm and peaceful anyway," I say a few seconds later. He nods in agreement. So we stay and look around. It was quite eventful actually because there were so many things we could do, but I finally knew it was time to go. We flew back slowly, not in a big rush to get back. I began to groan at the thought of having to get back. We land right before the trees. We look at each other with sad smiles. Alistair takes off as fast as he could to our room. We get there and I find a wooden carved bed frame with lots of leaves sewn together with more leaves in the middle. Right beside it is a bigger animal like bed. At the wall a little ways away from the bed is a beautiful dresser with silk shirts and jean pants. At a corner is a chair with a bookshelf and a desk by the window. I look around and see there is a nightstand next to the bed with a lamp along with a pillow with a crown on it with a note in the middle. The crown was beautiful. I put it on and it was a perfect fit! This is strange, I haven't been here for who knows how long, I thought. I put it back down and pick up the note. "Alicia, please come and see us. We are very sorry for everything and you deserve an explanation. We had this crown made for you years ago. We hope it'll fit. If you do come please where it as a sign to come to our room. It'll be like a pass. We also have clothes for you and you can pick out what you'd like. We hope to see you come." Shocked I pick out a shirt and pants. I look at Alistair and make a gesture for me to get on his back. He leans down and I show him the note. I throw it on the bed and I put on the crown and we go to my 'parents'
room. We go in and they look at me and say," Is the dragon really necessary?" I look at them and nod. They sigh." We know it's a lot to take in-" " You think," I interupt. "There was a raid by the humans so we hid you at a doorstep at a humans house hoping that you wouldn't get hurt. They were friends if ours and they understood. We were sad to see you go. They moved with you elsewhere and we never saw you again," my father says. I look at him, they risked so much for me and I can't even appreciate anything, what is wrong with me. I hug them both and cry.
