The Unexpected ( A Tristan Evans Fanfiction)

Part 14

 Skylar's P.O.V  

Just as we went to sit on the floor I felt Connors arms pull me into his lap, I turned my head to see that Tristan had done the same to Ava. I felt quite comfortable here but that was only because Connor was like a friend to me, I say 'like a friend' because to them we are probably just strangers that they offered to look after. However Ava looked slightly uncomfortable on Tristan's lap, not because she didn't want to sit there, but because she was nervous. I think if I was sat on Brads lap I would be freaking out on the inside and extremely nervous, but that wasn't going to happen, for some reason Brad has been quite distant from the group and I really hope it isn't because of us.  

After a very quick ten minutes the boys were shouted to get ready, so I jumped up off of Connors lap and stretched my arms above my head, the guys also took a minute to stretch out while making really strange groaning noises. I could see out of the corner of my eye that Ava was still sat on Tristan, but she was shaking him trying to wake him, this made me laugh a little out loud. "Sky why are you laughing to yourself?" James asked me. I didn't speak, I just pointed in the direction of Ava and Tristan. Straight away James, Connor and Brad pulled out their phones and took a picture of Ava trying to wake Tris. When Tristan finally got up Ava and I took a seat on the couch while the guys started to get ready for the performance. 

"Avs you should probably give your dad a call, tell him we are here and see what's going on at his end." I advised Ava as she promised to call her dad every so often. " Yeah you're right, don't want him worrying" Ava then stood up and left the building so that there was no background noise whilst she was on the phone.  

I was left sitting on the couch alone so I pulled out my phone which already had my earphones plugged in, I placed the earphones in my ears and decided to play some classical piano music; I like to listen to it when I want to think. Right now everything felt too good to be true, me and Ava were here, with The Vamps at the McFly concert, backstage. I feel like I should be over the moon, ecstatic and full of joy, but I know that when it's over tonight we will go back to our normal lives and they will go back to theirs, and even after all that went on today they will most probably forget who we are within the next week or so. My heart is telling me that maybe there is a chance we can be at least friends with them, but my head is telling me to stop being stupid. 

My thoughts were interrupted when I felt someone's hand tapping on my shoulder, I turned around seeing Tristan behind me. "Hey Skylar, are you okay?" Tristan asked me. Why do these boys have to be so caring, it's just going to make it harder for me to say goodbye to them when we leave later on. "Yeah, I was just thinking." I replied quickly. He gave me a look that said are you sure, so I nodded to let him know I was fine. "Alright then, I'm gonna go outside for some fresh air before the concert starts but If you need anything, or you need to talk just shout me. okay?" He smiled at me to let me know that he was there for me. "Okay Tristan, you best go outside before your time runs out!" I laughed and with that he walked towards the door and left walking towards the area Ava was in.  

Ava's P.O.V 

"Dad seriously we'll be fine, I'm just glad everything Is alright at your end... yes Sky is doing fine, yeah we have money for food, okay bye dad love you." I huffed as soon as I disconnected the call, sometimes my dad can be a bit too over protective but I guess that can be a good thing sometimes. I guess he is just worried but he shouldn't be I'm sixteen and Sky is almost seventeen we are practically adults, well nearly, we can look after ourselves for a few hours.  

As I was about to open the door to go back to Sky, somebody burst through the door from the inside knocking me back slightly. I was about to give the person a dirty look until I saw that it was Tristan that walked through the door. "Ava I'm so sorry are you okay?" He gasped resting his hand on my shoulder. "Yeah, I'm fine! I'm just gonna go inside now." I managed to sputter out a sentence a bit too quickly. As I was about to walk away Tristan spoke up "Actually, do you want to stay out here and get to know each other since you could be here for a while?" I was quite shocked that Tristan wanted to get to know me, I mean I'm just a normal girl and he was Tristan Evans from The Vamps. I told him different things about myself knowing we already briefly got to know each other earlier in the van, I told him; that I had two dogs called  Chip and Bailey, what I wanted to study in college, I even told him about my GCSE results in which he congratulated me. Tristan told me a bit about his life being in The Vamps, it was amazing to hear it from his point of view rather than in an article or on twitter. He also told me how much he loved the fans and although they are crazy sometimes, he wishes he could have more time to talk to them or tweet and follow them. Tristan is such a lovely, down to earth guy which made me like him even more.
